From 0:00 to 24:00 on October 1, Henan Province added 211 asymptomatic local infections (1 case in Zhenping County, Nanyang City; 2 cases in Xiayi County, Shangqiu City, 1 case in Wenfeng District, Anyang City, 1 case in Wuzhi County, Jiaozuo City, 1 case in Erqi District, Zhengzhou City, and 5 cases returning to Henan from outside the province, all of which were found to be isolated and controlled), and no new local confirmed cases were found. There were 6 new asymptomatic infections imported from abroad and no new confirmed cases of imported from abroad. One local confirmed case was cured and discharged from hospital ( Kaifeng City 1 cases). Seven asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation, including 5 local cases (, Xinyang City 2, Zhengzhou City 1, Kaifeng City 1, and Xinxiang City 21), and 2 imported cases were imported from abroad.
From January 21, 2020 to 24:00 on October 1, 2022, Henan Province has reported a total of 3,330 confirmed cases (3,103 local cases and 227 imported cases), 11 hospitalized cases (10 local cases and 1 imported case), and 107 asymptomatic infections are still under medical observation (77 local cases and 30 imported cases). A total of 179,373 close contacts have been traced, and 5,674 close contacts are being observed.
