Since 1947, the three words Chairman Mao have become an important tag that accompany Li Yinqiao for the rest of his life.
From a young boy who is only 20 years old to a proletarian soldier who can stand alone, Li Yinqiao stayed with Chairman Mao for 15 years.
As the "people around you" who always get along with Chairman Mao, Li Yinqiao has been with Chairman for longer than any of his children.
The relationship between him and Chairman Mao has also become deeper as he gets along day after day.
But in fact, when the two first met, they actually "looked down on each other".
and even Li Yinqiao was given a "warning" by the chairman on the first day he came to Chairman Mao. But when Li Yinqiao asked Premier Zhou for help in aggrieved manner, Premier Zhou smiled but said earnestly: This is Chairman Mao’s testing you!
So what did Li Yinqiao do to make Chairman Mao, who has always been generous, "targeted" him like this? In fact, this has to start with Li Yinqiao’s dream!
Refused to be the chairman guard
Li Yinqiao, who was born in poverty, was sent to Wudang Mountain by his parents when he was very young.
1937 After the breaking out of Lugou Bridge Incident, 11-year-old Li Yinqiao joined He Long's army by chance.
But how can a child who is only 11 years old go to the front line to fight?
Although Li Yinqiao, at a young age, can already play authentic Tai Chi and Tai Chi swords.
But after all, she is there, with a small and thin body, any adult who is strong can overturn him.
But because he is young, he is smart and lively, he is very popular among the leaders. So I have always been taken by the army leaders to do some secret agent work.
However, Li Yinqiao is not very happy about these "good jobs" that some people cannot envy.
Especially as he grew older, he watched the fellow villagers who had joined the army go to the front line to kill the enemy and make contributions. He had never touched the enemy's robes seriously, and Li Yinqiao felt very anxious.
However, before he could get the opportunity to go to the front line, the central government’s confidential communication arranged a transfer order to make Li Yinqiao one step further away from his “dream”.
From then until 1947, the War of Resistance ended and the War of Liberation lasted for a year. However, Li Yinqiao still did not wait for the opportunity to go to the front line to kill the enemy, but instead went further and further on the road of "guard".
At that time, he had been "promoted" to Zhou Enlai's personal bodyguard of Vice Chairman and Chief of Staff of the Military Commission .
and what he unexpectedly expected was that his path to defending had actually begun.
At that time, it was a critical period of war between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party. In order to better improve strategic deployment and avoid facing the enemy head-on with the main force on the northwest battlefield of the Kuomintang.
Under the leadership of Chairman Mao, all the leaders of the Party Central Committee evacuated Yan'an and moved to northern Shaanxi. After
Afterwards, as our army won the three major battles of Qinghuabian, Yangzihe and Panlong one after another, the Kuomintang general Hu Zongnan was completely forced into a "mad dog".
She directly sent seven brigades (nearly 30,000 people) of troops to pursue the detachment directly under the CPC Central Committee, which was directly led by Chairman Mao.
Under this relentless pursuit, until mid-August, Chairman Mao was forced to the side of Yellow River . Faced with a huge gap in force of 1:30, there seemed to be only one way left before Chairman Mao and others: crossing the Yellow River.
You can think of the oath that Chairman Mao once said, "If you don't defeat Hu Zongnan, you can't beat the Yellow River." Although Zhou Enlai, Ren Bishi and others started a fierce discussion, no one dared to directly express the word "cross the river".
At an emergency, everyone was waiting for Chairman Mao to order. But Chairman Mao, who hadn't said for a long time, suddenly shouted, but it was not the combat order that everyone had been waiting for for a long time.
" Give me a cigarette! "
We all know that Chairman Mao is very addicted to smoking. Especially when making a combat plan at night, you can get several packs of them out. But then again, every time the Chairman was worried about smoking, he could always come up with some clever plans.
So I finally found a cigarette for the chairman from the warrior, but it was wind and rainy weather, and the matches couldn't even wipe it.
In critical moments, lighting a cigarette for the Chairman seems to have become an extremely important thing.
In desperation, a soldier took out a quilt and blocked the wind and rain. But several times before the Chairman's smoke came over, the fire was extinguished.
Seeing that the soldiers who were lighting the cigarette were so anxious that they were sweating. Li Yinqiao, who was standing next to Premier Zhou, stepped forward and took the matches, put them in the corner blocked by the quilt, and then carefully blocked them with his hands, so he helped the chairman lit the cigarette.
Chairman Mao took a few sips, with a Shu Tai expression on his face, then he swept the sorrow on his face and led the soldiers to overcome the difficulties successfully.
In Li Yinqiao's opinion, his actions were just to help him, but he didn't know that he was seen by Ye Zilong and Wang Dongxing on the side.
That night, Central Column stayed in a small village to rest. Li Yinqiao, who had just finished his work, was about to rest when he heard someone calling him, saying that Chief of Staff Ye Zilong was looking for him.
With confusion, Li Yinqiao came to Ye Zilong.
"Comrade Li Yinqiao, how about we're going to get you transferred?"
When he heard this, Li Yinqiao became excited.
"Did you approve me from the army?" he asked excitedly.
But obviously he was too happy too early. In fact, Ye Zilong planned to transfer him to Chairman Mao as a guard because of his daytime actions.
When he heard that it was still a guard, Li Yinqiao's mouth suddenly pulled down and muttered, "Chief, I'm afraid I can't do it well!"
may feel that his rejection was too obvious, so he reluctantly added: "Organizational decisions, firmly obey!"
So, Li Yinqiao became a guard next to Chairman Mao through "arranged". I thought I had been a guard for many years and should be able to work easily, but on the first day I got to Chairman Mao, Li Yinqiao encountered a problem!
"contracted" three times with the chairman
On that day, Li Yinqiao came to Chairman Mao on time. He thought that the first time he came over, the chairman would always ask him a few words.
But a few hours have passed. The Chairman not only didn’t say a word to him, but he didn’t even look at him. Such a “cold treatment” made Li Yinqiao feel embarrassed and sting his toes.
But at a loss, he knew that the Chairman loved books very much, so he took out the two boxes of books that the Chairman had with him to sort them out.
Just as he was walking around with the box, he suddenly heard a shout, "Let's go down!"
Li Yinqiao, who had not yet reacted, had subconsciously lying on the ground. When he found that something was wrong, a shell had already exploded near Chairman Mao's house.
Li Yinqiao was scared and sweated coldly. He quickly ran over to check the situation. Fortunately, Chairman Mao had avoided it with the help of the guard squad soldiers.
After one go, the guard platoon leader asked Li Yinqiao to help the chairman elsewhere first.
But after Li Yinqiao walked to Chairman Mao, the chairman pushed his hand away and walked out by himself.
Looking at the empty palm, Li Yinqiao could only smile bitterly.
A few days later, Premier Zhou came to find the Chairman to report on his work. Li Yinqiao specially found an opportunity to rescue Premier Zhou. Unexpectedly, after hearing Li Yinqiao's words, the Premier smiled and told him, "It's okay, the Chairman is testing you!"
It turned out that Li Yinqiao was unwilling to be a guard for Chairman Mao, and many people in the entire column knew about Li Yinqiao's unwillingness to be a guardian.
Chairman naturally heard about this, so he deliberately gave Li Yinqiao a "warning" and wanted to make things difficult for him. After
, Chairman Mao still "accepted" this little guard. The two also talked openly.
Chairman Mao asked Li Yinqiao, "How is it? Are you willing to work with me?"
stuttered for a while, but Li Yinqiao still said to the truth: "I don't want to."
Chairman asked him the reason again, and then he learned that the little guard always wanted to go to the combat troops to go to the front line to fight.
"Is this the only reason? Is there any other reason?" the chairman asked again.
"I heard that you are nostalgic... The clothes you have worn and the pens and inkstones you have used have feelings... You are used to me, are you still willing to put them?"
Chairman laughed and made an agreement with Li Yinqiao.
"So, half a year, you helped me half a year, so it's a borrowing. Let's make a gentleman's agreement, do you think it's okay?"
When he heard the Chairman's words, Li Yinqiao was happy and nodded heavily.
Just like that, Li Yinqiao stayed by Chairman Mao’s side.
Slowly, the "cooperation" between the two has become more and more tacit. Li Yinqiao knew Chairman Mao’s habits of eating, drinking tea, studying, and working.
Sometimes, Li Yinqiao could even understand whether he was going to meet guests or add more water.
Half a year passed by. The chairman was a person who valued his promise, so he specially contacted Li Yinqiao for his opinion.
However, it was an important period of war, and if he left at this time, Li Yinqiao couldn't help but hesitate.
"If the chairman needs it, we can make an appointment again."
Chairman Mao saw that Li Yinqiao was willing to stay, and said, "Okay, let's make a new agreement. You can help me for another half a year to see me defeat Hu Zongnan."
So the two of them had a second half-year agreement.
1848, it has been a whole year since Li Yinqiao arrived with Chairman Mao. As they spend time together, their relationship becomes more and more harmonious.
, and as Li Yinqiao expected, the Chairman is really a very "nostalgic" person. After the "contract" expired, he tentatively proposed to Li Yinqiao to "renew the contract".
But at this time Li Yinqiao had changed his original idea. He sincerely admired the Chairman as he worked hard day and night.
"Chairman, I don't want to leave anymore. I am willing to follow you all the time."
From then on, Li Yin accompanied Chairman Mao's fourteen thoughts.
is like a teacher and a father, and I can't bear to part with you
In fact, many young people working around Chairman Mao are from poor families and have never read many books since childhood.
. Chairman Mao, who has loved books all his life, knows the importance of reading, so when he is not busy with work, Chairman Mao always likes to stare at these young people to read and write.
Therefore, not long after Li Yinqiao came to the Chairman, he was "mandatory" assigned a task: to write a diary.
However, Li Yinqiao went to Wudang to learn skills at a young age, and joined Red Army at the age of 11. I haven't read a few days since I was a child. Not to mention writing a diary, it's a bit difficult to even let him read a text in full.
But he had to do the tasks assigned by the Chairman himself, so he could only write a few sentences every day.
But unexpectedly, the Chairman not only asked him to write a diary, but also asked Li Yinqiao to take the notebook and correct it himself when he was idle.
You can imagine how well Li Yinqiao wrote a diary, but the chairman was still excited to read this article with stuttering and typos. After reading it, he helped him modify the wrong sentences and typos word by word.
In addition, every time there is an opportunity to improve and learn, the Chairman always asks Li Yinqiao and the others to learn when they get the opportunity.
Chairman is not only like a teacher, but also caring about Li Yinqiao's learning and growth, but even his personal issues are worried. Even when he was seeking a wife, the Chairman was the matchmaker for him.
Li Yinqiao's wife Han Guixin was originally a tutor hired by the chairman for his youngest daughter Li Na. In addition to taking care of Li Na, he also helps with small things around the Chairman.
After a while, Li Yinqiao and Han Guixin gradually became in love. But Li Yinqiao was a little dull and was always worried that the girl would not want to do so, so he kept dragging her to speak.
It was not until later that his parents sent a letter from his hometown that he wanted to introduce him to a partner, which made Li Yinqiao anxious.
Chairman Mao, who had long seen the secret interaction between the two, gave Li Yinqiao an idea.He asked him to take the letter to Han Guixin and ask the girl how she should reply to the letter, whether to turn it off or agree!
As expected, Han Guixin knew what Li Yinqiao meant when she heard what Li Yinqiao said. She red face agreed to Li Yinqiao's "confession" without any hesitation.
It can be said that more than ten years of getting along have made the relationship between Chairman Mao and Li Yinqiao very complicated. Even though they are nominally superiors and subordinates, in fact, in Chairman Mao’s opinion, Li Yinqiao is no different from his own sons and nephews!
However, the banquet will be over in the world. On April 20, 1962, the time for parting is here!
According to the organizational arrangement, Li Yinqiao was transferred to Tianjin to serve as deputy director of the Municipal Public Security Bureau.
Before leaving, he and the two big men of the Chairman couldn't help but red their eyes.
He cried and said to Chairman Mao: "I didn't want to come at the beginning, so you insisted on lending me; now I don't want to leave, so you want to drive me away again."
Chairman of course also couldn't bear to leave this guard who was the best "fit" with him, but he couldn't delay Li Yinqiao's future because of himself.
Li Yinqiao joined the army in 1938 and has been in full 24 years by 1962. He is a veritable "old qualification". As the chairman's chief guard, although his status is not low, his position and level are actually not enough.
So in order to give Li Yinqiao a good future, Chairman Mao could only bear the pain of giving up!
Before Li Yinqiao left, the chairman specially gave him the "Seven-character Code: Long March" he wrote. Instruct them and their husbands: "You should come to Beijing to see me often... After I die, don't forget to go to the grave every year."
For Li Yinqiao, Chairman Mao was like a teacher and a father. He always remembered the Chairman's words before his leave.
Chairman Mao passed away in 1976. After learning the news, Li Yinqiao was so sad! But this person has passed away, and the life of a living person must continue! But for Li Yinqiao, it is time to fulfill the oath between him and Chairman Mao!
From then on September 9 and December 26 each year, Li Yinqiao and Han Guixin will come to Chairman Mao’s Memorial Hall to visit Chairman Mao!
Conclusion
After 15 years of accompanying you, Li Yinqiao can know every little thing that Chairman Mao has done and experienced. For Li Yinqiao, Chairman Mao was not only his life mentor, but also a role model for him to learn throughout his life!
