Kaifu Temple
Kaifu Temple is located in the city of Changsha City, near the Xiangjiang River. It is one of the key open temples of Chinese Buddhism. It is listed as a provincial key cultural relics protection unit in Hunan. Because of its convenient transportation, it has become the first choice for many people in Changsha to pray for blessings.
It is worth mentioning that the Arhat , which is circulated among the people, is the most effective. That is, take any Arhat in the temple as the starting point, count to the last Arhat according to your age, and then draw a seal according to the number of Arhat to measure good or bad luck.
Lushan Temple
Lushan Temple is located on the hillside of Yuelushan Mountain . It was built in the Western Jin Dynasty and was originally called Huiguangming Temple. It was renamed Lushan Temple in the early Tang Dynasty. It is not only the first Buddhist temple in Hunan, but also one of the early Buddhist temples in my country.
In today's Lushan Temple, there are endless people who entertain incense and worship Buddha. The hall is hidden among the green forests, with morning bells and evening drums, and Sanskrit sounds. At the beginning of the new year, climbing Yuelu Mountain with your family and praying for blessings and worshiping Buddha is also a good way to relax.
Xixin Zen Temple
Xixin Zen Temple is located 8 kilometers northwest of Huangjin Street, Wangcheng District, Changsha City, Hunan Province. According to records, Xixin Zen Temple was originally named Xixin Temple. It was founded by Master Fazang of Hanyue in the early Qing Dynasty in 1620 and has a history of 386 years.
The temple is built on the mountain, adjacent to Yuxiulu Mountain in the south and to the vast Dongting in the north. It has beautiful scenery and a clean environment. You can clearly feel its pure atmosphere, which is suitable for worshiping Buddha.
Hongshan Temple
Hongshan Temple is located on the bank of the Laodao River in Kaifu District, north of Changsha City. It was built in the Ming Dynasty and was originally named Lufeng Temple. It was rebuilt during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. After vicissitudes, it has risen and abolished several times. It was later renamed Hongshan Temple.
Hongshan Temple Buddha Light Pagoda, 9 floors and 48 meters high, are magnificent and spectacular, making it a landmark building on the Laodao River Scenic Belt. It is also the only high-rise antique building in the temples in Hunan Province with elevators installed.
Miyin Temple
Miyin Temple is located on the hillside of Mount Weishan in Ningxiang County and under the Vairo Peak. It is one of the five major Buddhist sects of Miyang Sect. Its sect style is unique in the history of Chinese Buddhism, and its Dharma inheritance has a long history.
Walk into Miyin Temple, you can see the 99-meter-high Thousand-Handed Thousand-Eyed Guanyin statue, standing tall on the top of Mount Wei, is a pure holy place to "get rid of the dust, realize the Tao, look at Buddha, and be quiet".
Tianmenshan Temple
Tianmenshan Temple was first built in the Ming Dynasty and was located in a mountain nest. It has a wide view and looks to the southeast. All the mountains are small, and it does have the spirit of being the only one mountain. It is also the Buddhist center of in the region of Xiangxi. Since its construction, there are many believers and their incense is prosperous.
Nanyue Hengshan
When it comes to burning incense and worshiping Buddha and praying for blessings, we have to mention Nanyue Hengshan. There are four main temples to burn incense here: Nanyue Temple and Zhurong Peak offer incense of peace and wishing; the Temple of God of Wealth is dedicated to incense of seeking wealth; Zhusheng Temple offers incense of Guanyin.
Among them, Nanyue Temple, known as the "Southern Palace Museum", is one of the largest and most complete palace-style buildings in southern my country. It was built in the Sui Dynasty and has a history of more than 1,500 years.
Fahua Temple
Fahua Ancient Temple was built in the Tang Dynasty and has a history of more than 1,300 years. It is located in the southeast of Xiangyin County, fifteen kilometers away from the county town.
Fahua Ancient Temple has a long history and a long history. It is the earliest ancient temple of Tiantai Sect in Hunan. In the old days, Fangyu scholars believed that Fahua Temple was the same as Putuo, Emei , and Lushan Mountains and the same root as the Buddha Source.
Shishuang Temple
Shishuang Temple is a famous temple in Hunan. It is located on Shuanghua Mountain in Shizhuang Village, Jingang Town, Liuyang City, Changsha City, Hunan Province. It is named after the mountain.
Shishuang Temple once governed 48 temples and 5,048 houses. It is called "the hall is ninety feet high and the Buddha is seventy feet high". It is conceivable that the grandeur of the "Liuyang Great Buddha" temple is also known as the statues of Pei Xiu and Bao Zheng who were repaired by later generations.
Longshan Temple
Longshan Temple is located on the side of the cultural road of Hetang District, Zhuzhou City. It was built during the rebuilt during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty and was rebuilt again in the seventh year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1881). It is the only remaining ancient temple in Zhuzhou city.
Longshan Temple is solemn and majestic, with a prosperous incense. It is also a key religious activity venue in Zhuzhou City and the center of pilgrimage services for religious believers inside and outside the city.
