Today's protagonist, Scottish photographer Alan McFadyen, in order to shoot the "Perfect Shot" in his heart, spent six years, and after waiting and working hard for 720,000 films, he finally shot this work with almost zero shortcomings!

There are almost no splashes or ripples. The mirror-like lake reflects the Kingfisher looking down for food. The photo condenses at the moment when the bird's beak comes into contact with the water surface, completely still, and full of tension! The next second that makes thousands of possibilities appear in the viewer’s mind, is it the kingfisher that is accompanied by the splash of water, picking up a fresh and delicious seafood meal, or is it an accidental failure and a waste of time?

It seems that the answer is the former, which is a happy ending for Kingfisher, and has fulfilled its wish for photographer Alan McFadyen for six years.

Since childhood, my grandfather has often taken Alan McFadyen to the mountains and forests, to the lake to play, and to take him to understand the beauty of nature. He was only six years old at that time.

But when he grew up, McFadye did not immediately devote himself to the field of natural ecological photography. He did not start picking up the camera until six years ago, hoping to take an excellent work to commemorate his grandfather. After six years, 4,200 hours and 720,000 photos, I finally successfully took the most ideal work in my heart.

Alan McFadyen said that he will always remember when his grandfather took him to see the Kingfisher's Nest. At that time, he was still young and was deeply attracted by the kingfisher's fresh feathers and exquisite and beautiful appearance. I believe that if my grandfather has the opportunity to see this photo, he will be proud, and his relatives and friends around him said this.

Alan McFadyen also said that he hopes that his eight-year-old child will love nature the same in the future. Such a respect and enthusiasm for nature is truly heartwarming and touching!
