Chen Linong: From the middle of the first to the second, I have always pursued singing, which is my singing skills, because the improvement of singing skills allows me to master various music styles. When I arrived at the second major, I also had 12 songs, and the style of the music became more extensive than that of the first major. This was a breakthrough for me.
Pipi: Have you done any specific preparations in the middle?
Chen Linong: can practice sound repeatedly. When it comes to recording, I will discuss with the teacher the direction of the music style and what kind of style I want to express, and sometimes a little teacher's element will be added. The teachers I work with each other are quite famous and senior, so they have given me a lot of help. Learn in this process and then complete the album.
Pipi: I interviewed Wei Li'an before, and he also mentioned that you went to him to practice your voice specifically. I am curious whether each song will be specially found to be the teachers involved in the creation of the individual special training?
Chen Linong: (thinking for a while) Most, right.
Pipi: In the past year after the first major was launched, Nongnong should have received many reviews from inside and outside the industry, some are good, and some are not that good. Do you think these reviews have an impact on the second major? Or has any inspiration given you?
Chen Linong: As a newcomer, when facing the opinions of fans or professional music review teachers, I will absorb the good or bad things, and I will feel what the public aesthetic is. But one of the more important points at the moment is that you are just starting out, so what I care more about is whether I have learned things from the works and whether I have made progress. This proportion will be greater than some of the opinions they gave me. I will pay attention to whether my requirements have been met and whether I am satisfied.
Pipi: What is more reflective of "progress" in the second specialty?
Chen Linong: cannot be said to be the second major, because before the first major, I was more impatient in singing duets, and I may have mentioned it in previous interviews. As time goes by, I later realized something and found that it is useless to put it on many things. You have many idols and many goals. You must know clearly that many things cannot be achieved in a short period of time. After all, it took them more than ten or twenty years, or even thirty years to get such a position or the current level, and hasteness cannot be achieved. It will be better to apply a word from someone else, slow down your pace, give yourself more time, and maintain a good and healthy mentality to make progress. During the whole process, at present, it is just a steady step by step to go up slowly. The progress of singing is the main core.
Pipi: So you will tend to a step-by-step process and be accustomed to finding your own rhythm between yourself and the market, including the audience.
Chen Linong: Yes, this is the long-term solution. I used to be very anxious, so anxious that I might feel uncomfortable.
Pipi: If you use one sentence to describe "Incompatible" and "Heliocentric Theory", how would you define them?
Chen Linong: "Incompatible" is an exhibition of oneself, a business card for self-introduction; the concept of "Heliocentric theory" is "the earth rotates around the sun". In the process of rotation, the sun has warmth and love, and it rotates day after day. We are also living and facing various things every day. "Heliocentric theory" is about finding love and self-growth.

Pipi: Why did you think of using "heliocentric theory" as the album title?
Chen Linong: Just mentioned "Hidal-centric theory", it is very similar to people's daily life situation. There are 12 songs in this album, representing my different stories, as well as some emotions or things I live every day. "Hydragon" contains the overall situation, and its entire concept is our life. Like "The Legend of the Continuing" and "On the Road to Happiness", they are all our only paths, and they are packaged with "Hydragon" to make it.
Pipi: I will mention another thing I am more curious about. Because there is a song called "Hydronic Theory", is it the first song title or the first album title?

Pipi: This time I received many demos created by teachers. Do you usually listen to their own works?
Chen Linong: The teachers I find for cooperation are usually the music teachers I like, and then I invite the teacher to cooperate.
Pipi: Which song was the first to determine the demo?
Chen Linong: The first thing to determine the demo was "Not Split". At that time, I wanted to make a song specially for the school students and the start of the school season. The song "Don't Leave" is very suitable for campus and a feeling of parting.
Pipi: Why do you think this song will attract you?
Chen Linong: "Never part" is a kind of love and a kind of longing for the future. That feeling is like saying that we should separate now, and we hope for the future, and even more so for myself. Although we are separated, our hearts and thoughts have not dissipated, which is a warm and a little distressing feeling.
Pipi: So was this song the first to record?
Chen Linong: The earliest recorded by was actually "Full Chapter", which is also a song I like very much.
Pipi: Did you decide to put this song in the first place in the preface?
Chen Linong: Speaking of the preface, it is a concept of design by the boss and company. When I first drew a pyramid with a white print, you will find that the characters are from short to long, step by step. Why design this way? The concept of that design is like the feeling of me slowly growing up and progressing from 1 to 100.
Pipi: For example, the first picture has four characters, this picture has a pyramid, and there are actually some designs in it.
Chen Linong: The reason for the four words at that time, you must say that you must have some pursuit, but there is actually nothing. Why do I have to have four words? It just happens that there are many previous songs, including "The Dream to Be at", "Youthless", my first single "I Am Yours", and "Half Me" all have four words. The first album is made in four words to deepen everyone's impression.
Pipi: Why do you make such trade-offs? For example, some songs are not included in the album at the end.I'm quite curious, such as "BEST Makes King", "Taopu Boy", and some theme songs?
Chen Linong: In fact, those singles were published before and were arranged for every project designed. The songs included in the album now have a structure, which is reasonable to be placed in the new album of "Hydragon Center". Including the theme song of Youyogurt "Youth is also sweet", and sang the song "Marry Me Today" with Wang Yanlin. These songs have been released in advance. The boss and I don’t want to fill the album with the filling method. I hope to give everyone a more thoughtful and fresh feeling, so that everyone can feel that they are worth the price when listening to music.
Pipi: Which song has been recorded the longest time?
Chen Linong: "Gas furnace in the old house".
Pipi: Is it because this song may have more emotional parts?
Chen Linong: The emotional part is one aspect. There are many tones in Minnan language, which are specially requested by producer Xiao Huangqi and are also self-required. Minnan language songs require a lot of time to craft them. My Minnan language is OK, but you are still much worse than you can speak and sing. Therefore, the teacher carefully carved every word and had strict requirements on singing style, so we spent three days recording.
Pipi: Do you think language is an aspect that takes more time and energy in singing works?
Chen Linong: actually doesn't. I feel a little talent for language. It is not about applying life, but how I learn. So I will have many attempts in the future, and Cantonese songs are also a learning process.
Pipi: Yes, because I heard before that you were learning the Cantonese song "Depending on One's Life". For example, the first album has English collaboration, and this one has Minnan works, so it is quite interesting.
Chen Linong: pairs, I hope to give you a little surprise every new album. A little surprise this time was "The Gas Furnace of the Old House", which is a Minnan song I have always dreamed of. Use Minnan songs to express your longing for your mother and the warmth in the hearts of wanderers in a foreign land.
Pipi: I have seen some comments saying that I hope this song will be in Mandarin, but I really like you singing it in Minnan.
Chen Linong: Mandarin may feel a little distorted. But everyone has different preferences, and they will definitely have their ideas.
Pipi: The two albums have one similarity, both of which are 12 songs, and this one is also a completely different 12 songs. Did you want so many songs to be put on an album at the beginning, or did you decide in the end? Do you think this is the impact of the record industry under traditional industry on you?
Chen Linong: is actually the idea the boss told me. He said that our music should be a Chinese music inheritance. The key is to be good at listening carefully, but it has not been influenced by the previous music industry. Think about what was the original intention of the music we made? I think the album has many songs, which makes the story background of different music and the interests of people who listen to music completely differently, and allows fans who like different music to find one of the 12 songs in the album. If I don’t like to listen, then I will continue to work hard.
Pipi: Yes, because many singers in the same period posted EPs, and some have been singles one after another. There are also many singers, although they are big albums, but often 10 songs are not enough. So is it something you want and persist in making an album? Will EP be launched later?
Chen Linong: Yes! Making an album is one of our persistence. I think the EP single can be connected between the album, and of course it requires its functionality.
Pipi: Do you think that besides the boss, the environment you are in may affect your doing these things? For example, if you want to make a complete album and try these current music?
Chen Linong: will be a little bit. I think this idea is good (to make the full album) and we should stick to it.
Pipi: Which song do you most worry about singing live in the current song? I will be more afraid of singing which song to the audience?
Chen Linong: should be "Hidal-centric theory"! This song has a relatively high difficulty coefficient and is also a self-breakthrough for me.
Voice of sound
The first two songs are "Full" and "Not Split", and the lyrics and songs are from Xu Yuanting and Jiawang respectively. This is another collaboration between Chen Linong and Jiawang in the second major, but the creation, presentation effect and singing are completely different. In the interview, Chen Linong mentioned a word "functional" - each song has different audience groups and functions for him, so many corresponding adjustments will be made in singing, and there are more possibilities in the form of sound. Pipi: The first two songs "The Complete Edition" and "Not Away", why did you think of collaborating with Xu Yuanting and Jiawang in this album?
Chen Linong: The first collaboration with Teacher Jiawang was the first album "Knowing Nothing", and it was also the first collaboration with Sister Xu Jiaying, LaLa. At that time, it was the musical collaboration between Teacher Jiawang and Sister LaLa found through the boss's relationship. The condition for inviting a teacher is to appreciate each teacher's music and then like it yourself. So the second album was invited to cooperate with the teacher again.
Pipi: These two songs seem to be a little different in their singing style.
Chen Linong: Every song has a different audience, and its functions are also different. The emotions or something referred to in "Fuan Pian" means that everything is always about to be full. The expression of this song is definitely different from the feeling of parting and inspirationality of "Not Away". It’s not about how professional training you need to do for these two songs, because after completing these two albums, each song has many different ways of handling it - not only these two songs, but each song must first understand its function, its direction, its story, its music; and what kind of feeling you want to give everyone, which also includes the magnetism of the sound. Like the first album "Incompatible", there are many subwoofers, and everyone will hear it. There will be more different things in this picture, and now I feel like it is a possibility of playing with sound.
Pipi: Then what do you want to present to fans or listeners as your dictionary understanding?
Chen Linong: Everything in the world must have a day in the past, and everything is the same. There will definitely be a time point in your life, learn to forget and try to be liberated. Pipi: After finishing the second major, what else will you want to do "turn up" next? What else do you want to try next?
Chen Linong: There may be too many ... I may not be able to give a more practical example now. Because we are still moving forward step by step, we have not reached a time point where the general direction needs to be turned, and it needs a specific opportunity to find it.
Pipi: "Never Leave" reminds people of campus time. Are there any particularly unforgettable memories about campus? Can you share it?
Chen Linong: ’s most recent time with his debut was in high school. To be honest, I would think of some of my previous campus life. At that time, I studied performing arts, and learned everything, and learned most of them based on the foundation.A concept in school allows students to "touch" in high school - hosting, dancing, singing, acting, etc., to do all-round exploration and learning. At that time, I would be able to get along with many classmates, and the running-in and getting along with campus life is precious. In addition to the "Don't Leave" mentioned just now, "Respect Growing Up", "Marry Me Tonight" and "Youth Sour and Sweet" also correspond to some clips of Chen Linong's life. During the interview, he shared some stories about these three songs with me.
Pipi: "Respect for Growing Up" will remind me of the song "Youthless" from last year. Both songs are about the growth of teenagers. This song was released as a 21-year-old birthday single, which is more realistic and chorus partly explosive. What do you think you have gained the most during your growth? If there are a few specific words for "respect to grow up", what do you think is "respect"?
Chen Linong: Let me first talk about my mind "respect to grow up". I am particularly suitable for "respect to grow up". Maybe I am leaving society. I have been honing for a long time in my academic stage. At this stage, I will feel that I am getting closer to the rules of the entire society step by step, slowly coming to this world, and slowly adapting to it. In this process, it is the same as everyone else. There must be a lot of training and pain. We are making progress and growing every day. It is not easy to face any person or thing. Therefore, "respect for growing up" is actually the present self, the future self, and the past self. Chen Linong: Haha Thank you (laugh). But at present, my singing "Respect for Growing Up" should be quite complete, and I hope I will keep improving. In the past, I was so exaggerated about the "high notes" - when I was a child, I would ask myself: Am I just a bass in my life? Why can't you sing the high notes? Some people say that they are born, but for me, I have been persisting in studying, and I have only now realized that I have grown and made great progress. With these progress, I discovered something, singing is the same as everything that I can practice continuously. Your limits may be different from others' limits, but if you haven't tried it, your inner limits are not your real limits, and this can be exchanged for hard work. Pipi: "Marry Me Tonight" is a wedding blessing song written for friendship. You also participated in the lyrics at that time. Why did you think of such a song?
Chen Linong: Yanlin and I have always been very good. The boss once told me that it is a rare thing to make sincere and close friends in the entertainment industry. He suggested whether you should sing a brother song together, which I think is good. But as time slowly passed, the "Brothers Song" became the "Marriage Song" - the reason was that he told me that he was going to get married. Thinking of this, it would be better to have a wedding blessing song and prepare a surprise gift for him and his sister-in-law, and the song began.

Pipi: This song has an MV. What are the things that are hard to forget when filming?
Chen Linong: is hard to forget (laughs). At that time, I was accidentally injured because of recording the show. I shot the commercial and MV in those two days and ended the pain. The whole process was quite patient, and the weather was very hot and the symptoms were serious, so it was quite embarrassing. Fortunately, the filming was completed successfully. After that, no matter whether this person disappears or leaves, I will have the stubborn feeling of becoming the sun. Originally, you couldn't live without this person, but this person left. The lyrics mention "I will be the sun from now on". I will now rotate around myself. Pipi: I interviewed Chen Jianqi before, and the second one collaborated with him again with a song "Reselect" and this song also included Tanya Tsai to create lyrics and songs. I have been working with Teacher Jianqi from the beginning to the present. Are there any new stories in this cooperation process?
Chen Linong: There is something happier in the cooperation process. The first time I worked with Teacher Jianqi was in "Decoding Game", and the second time I worked was "Incompatible", "Knowing Nothing", and the third time was "Reselect". The biggest, fun and the most satisfying thing I am is that you will find that the requirements that Teacher Chen Jianqi gave you are more efficient than before, and it is also an improvement for you. I may find it difficult to achieve the standards set by the teacher in the past, but when I recorded this song, the teacher said that I felt like I was enlightened, and knew what to do and made progress. Pipi: So have you encountered any problems before, or are there any stuck areas?
