Early this morning, some media revealed that Chen Qiaoen was arrested for drunk driving. She wore a mask at 9 a.m. today (January 4) and was transferred to the Taipei District Prosecutor's Office of China in accordance with the public danger crime. She is currently waiting for the trial to be investigated.
According to the latest news from Taiwan media, Chen Qiaoen has been interrogated by the prosecutor and has been handed over bail for 100,000 (RMB 22,000) in accordance with the public dangerous crime order. The wine test value was revealed to be as high as 0.67. If it is true, Chen Qiaoen may face a fine of NT$74,000 (RMB 16,277).
Chen Qiaoen's explanation for this is: after drinking at home, he wanted to go out to buy something, but as a result, he turned right and ran into the police.
According to the police's surveillance footage, Chen Qiaoen drove a white MINI and turned right in a red light and was stopped. The answer to the police was obviously slow. The police asked: "Are you drinking beer?" She replied: "Wine." She looked embarrassed. The police even warned her not to drive dangerously, which almost led to an accident.
February 2017 Chen Qiaoen once posted a photo saying that it only took 45 minutes to go from Hsinchu to Taipei late at night. He boasted that he was "born driver", which made many fans sweat.
It is reported that previously, there were reports that Taiwan’s drunk driving punishment was called “the strictest in the world” and almost met the standard of “don’t go on the road when you drink, you will be fined when you go on the road.” If a driver exhaled alcohol concentration of more than 0.25 mg/L (or 0.05% in the blood) constitutes a public danger crime. Those who commit drunk driving will be sentenced to at least two months in prison and will be severely punished.
