At present, Shenzhen has built 31 earthquake stations and 1 earthquake monitoring center, realizing the specialization of earthquake monitoring and standardization of earthquake network maintenance. The monitoring methods include earthquake measurement, strong earthquakes, and precursors. The network density and monitoring capabilities rank among the forefront of major cities in the country.
