
It is reported that Cambodia recently launched the Tinh Tinh e-commerce platform, which is a platform supported by the Cambodian government and aims to help Cambodian companies sell products in the global market.
Tinh Tinh’s creators call it the dominant e-commerce platform in Cambodia, which is jointly owned by Cambodia Post Electronic Solutions, a joint venture between Cambodia Post and China’s ZVS Investment Company, and local technology company Paxxa Mobile Solutions.
Its creators stated that Tinh Tinh e-commerce serves as a logistics and intermediary agency that provides a wide range of comprehensive online services, among other roles. Ork Bora, director of the Cambodian Post Office, said: Tinh Tinh is a "buy, buy" Khmer . The platform is available in Khmer, English and Chinese, and its initial capital is US$1.5 million. Cambodia Post, a public enterprise established in 2011, holds 10% of the platform, while ZVS owns 50% and the remainder is owned by Paxxa Mobile Solutions.

Sopheary said Cambodian merchants no longer need to worry about advertising costs. They welcome merchants to sell products on the platform, and the company will sign agreements with several banks to ensure the security of transactions. At the same time, they are also cooperating with Cambodia Post and Zhongtong Express to ensure the efficiency of the logistics system.
According to data from the Telecommunications Regulator of Cambodia (TRC), the number of Internet users in Cambodia (including mobile Internet and fixed Internet) increased by 31.6% in the first half of this year and is currently 15.8 million, equivalent to 98.5% of the Cambodian population. TRC noted that as of February, Facebook had 7 million users in the country.
