Recently, the Criminal Investigation Detachment of the Putian City Public Security Bureau and the Chengxiang Branch have jointly launched two centralized network operations, successfully taking down an overseas fraud group and arresting people suspected of organizing others to cross the border in Guangdong, Fujian and other places. There were 26 suspects involved in border crimes, illegal detention, fraud, extortion and other crimes, with the amount involved exceeding 10 million yuan.

In April this year, the Municipal Bureau’s Criminal Investigation Detachment and Chengxiang Branch discovered a smuggling fraud gang that had been active in Myanmar for a long time while investigating an information network crime case, and initially identified the smuggling suspect. On May 6, the Criminal Investigation Detachment of the Municipal Bureau and the Chengxiang Branch successfully captured 5 people including the smuggling suspect in Xianyou County, Xianyou County.

Special case investigation and thorough investigation

The leaders of the municipal bureau and branch attach great importance to it. They mobilized elite police from the municipal bureau and branch to set up a special task force to conduct an in-depth investigation and organized multiple special case meetings to make specific arrangements for the investigation of the case. In order to further thoroughly investigate the facts of the crime, the investigating police continued to work hard. Through further investigation and analysis, and on the premise of clarifying the organizational characteristics of the criminal gang, they carried out two arrest operations. The troops went to Shenzhen City, Huizhou City, , Fuzhou City, Quanzhou City , Putian Licheng District, Xianyou County and other places successfully arrested a total of 21 suspects and uncovered 64 fraud cases involving more than 10 million yuan.
