The Civil Defense Operation Center emphasized that Macao has sufficient supplies and stocks of fresh food, grains and oils, and citizens do not need to hoard in large quantities. In addition, to ensure the safety of citizens, supermarkets and markets may adopt crowd control measures based on actual conditions.
Some casinos pull up iron gates when they need to close in the early morning and post notices announcing the suspension of operations. The six categories of people who can still move during the suspension period can go to the designated location of the Municipal Affairs Bureau to obtain specific "permit work permits" so that they can take public buses to and from get off work.
