Before I went to Lanka, I saw everyone’s travel notes, and the impression that Lanka gave me was:
1. It’s so beautiful, the tea plantation train, the seaside train, the end of the world... wow. . In fact, I also went for the two trains and the mountain climbing.
2. Everyone says that this is a country of smiles. Everyone is smiling, innocent and enthusiastic.
3. Every travelogue will say: Lanka is really a charming country, I really want to come again;
4. Wow, things in Lanka are so cheap? Prices are so low.
Then, after going there, I felt:
1, tea garden train + seaside train, there are really not many similar scenery in China, it is quite special. However, mountain climbing, haha, I think any 4A scenic spot in China is a thousand times more magnificent than Lanka (I am definitely someone who rarely praises China);
2, smile? Only kids, and only some kids. . However, every adult man's smile always looks so malicious;
3, is it really charming? At least I don’t want to go there a second time. N friends I met on the road all said that they would never come back again. What’s more, they even said that she would never come back if others gave her money;
4, cheap? Except for transportation and house prices, which are not as high as Shanghai, everything is more expensive than Shanghai!

1. About the B&B in Negombo
I didn’t go to Negombo to do too much, nor did I go to a B&B run by my Chinese friend, because I was very poor and the B&B in Negombo was too expensive! Many of them can be opened for 30-50 US dollars/night, which is a luxury for me. I have never stayed there, so I don’t know how luxurious these B&Bs that cost tens of dollars are, so I won’t comment, but I will post a few pictures of the B&Bs I stayed in on the way. They are all single rooms with private bathrooms, and the price is 7-10 US dollars. You can see for yourself. I wonder if the B&Bs in Negombo can surpass their configurations by 3-5 times? I have nothing to complain about, I just want to give you an information reference.
Regarding accommodation, I booked it 5 months in advance. Later, because I changed my itinerary, I booked twice on the same day. On these two occasions, I found that booking one day in advance and booking immediately on the same day are really very cheap, at least it is cheaper than usual for that house. The price is much cheaper. . So for people who don’t want to be too rigid in their itinerary, booking on the same day is undoubtedly a good choice, and there are really many B&Bs. . . . The shortage of housing is not as bad as imagined.
In addition, it is recommended not to use airbnb to book in Lanka, because you can find a wide range of prices here through other methods such as booking.com, and the lowest price on airbnb starts at 10 US dollars, not counting service fees. 2. Prices in Lanka
When I went there, what people said was what I thought, it’s tropical, and they produce fruits~ Fruits must be cheap, right? In fact, except for local specialties such as coconuts, wood apples, and bananas, everything else in Lanka is not cheap at all! At least it’s much more expensive than Shanghai! I guess fruits and other things are imported from China. Oreos and Pringles potato chips are all imported and I can't afford them. They cost 20 yuan+ each.
The wealthy people have to say again, how expensive are the housing prices in Shanghai~~How cheap they are! -. - Let’s just compare the Engel coefficient in this post, okay? Don't take housing prices together~~~ It depends on the ratio of residents' income and food expenses. With incomes as low as those in South Asia, even if the food prices are the same as ours, do you think the cost of living is very low? And my landlord said that the cost of building a house in Lanka is not low at all. A small villa with 3 floors and 3 rooms on each floor is about 800,000 yuan, and digging a swimming pool is 70,000 yuan, because all the sediment and steel bars are imported. Lanka Technology Lagging behind has led to low construction efficiency, the people are not very industrious, and the overall cost has increased.... Yogurt is a thumbs up. I have at least 5 cans a day. I even bought a 500g bottle and ate it all in one go. , very similar to Japanese yogurt~~~~very delicious~~~The average price is 1.75-2 yuan/box, which is about 80g.

3. About the Kingdom of Smiles
Let’s talk about children first. Most children really laugh when they see you. They always feel that they have become the king of children all of a sudden. And I am very ashamed~~~ Many children smile when they see you. I stuffed snacks, I was so embarrassed~hehe
But not all of them were well-intentioned. I went hiking with the Spanish friends I met on the road. When I went down the mountain, I met many children along the way. Each one came up. In less than three sentences, "Do you have any candies, bananas, biscuits, or food?" This is a school in a tea garden in a remote mountainous area, a very closed place. . It may be that tourists give them something to eat every time, causing these children to develop the mentality and habit of asking for food and getting something for nothing.

7. In this country, the time cost is the highest!
Because I didn’t rent a car and stayed in a B&B for this trip, the cost was basically 1/3 or even 1/5 of many people’s. But I think my time cost is really the highest in this trip~ Why?
① The country is backward, and poor construction of transportation routes leads to long transportation times. Most of the time travel is "on the road."
