This disease is a congenital solid tumor in children that often invades the gluteal muscles, and presacral muscles. Not only is it difficult to operate, but it is also prone to various complications after surgery. As the child gets older, the surgery becomes more difficult and the basal tissue repair becomes more difficult.
"Yanyan's tumor is very large and relatively rare. If she does not undergo surgery, it will seriously affect her daily life and even endanger her life." Liu Zheng, a volunteer at the 416 Hospital, said that although the child has missed the best period for surgical treatment, , but there is still surgical value, and the sooner the surgery, the better.

After 4 pm on October 25, the car from Guang'an Children's Welfare Institute arrived at the 416 Hospital. The volunteer twisted a large bag containing diapers, towels, cups and commonly used changes of clothes. Li Qiulan from the welfare home hugged Xiao Yanyan and followed the doctors from the 416 Hospital all the way to the fourth floor of the inpatient building.
After preliminary examination, Xiao Yanyan was sent to the hospital bed on the 7th floor. She neither cried nor fussed, and her big eyes rolled around. Li Qiulan told the doctor: "She eats a lot. She didn't like to eat staple food before, but later she stopped being picky. She just doesn't want to chew and doesn't absorb what she eats." The child can only say some simple words now, such as calling uncle, aunt, mom and dad.

However, the expert team at 416 Hospital believes that the child's tumor is 12cm in diameter, and complete surgical removal is the key to reducing tumor recurrence and malignant transformation.
