On December 4th, which coincided with National Constitution Day, the New Target Education Counseling Center on the third floor of Huada Street welcomed a wave of "red vests". Many first-year student volunteers from Pingtung Middle School and Lizhi Middle School gathered together with nearby residents. Together, we carried out the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Environmentally Friendly Origami Love Butterfly Bookmarks" volunteer service activity.
At the beginning of the event, Lin Jing, a provincial environmental protection public welfare trainer and a provincial family care lecturer, gave everyone knowledge about the Constitution Publicity Week and the "Standardization Law" and other legal propaganda, explained the "environmental protection zero waste" method, and demonstrated the transformation of milk cartons, cans, and plastic bags into Handicrafts that turn waste into treasure, spread the knowledge of garbage classification, and advocate green living. In the first half of the activity, everyone worked together to cut the copy paper packaging bags into square pieces of paper, and folded the paper pieces into beautiful love butterfly bookmarks according to the standardized graphic guidelines. In the second half, under the guidance of teacher Lin Jing, everyone practiced the singing and body movements of the Fujian opera nursery rhyme "True Bird Nest" and personally experienced the charm of intangible cultural heritage. Everyone said that the concept of environmental protection is a very positive guide for children, and they hope to have the opportunity to participate in more environmental protection volunteer service activities in the future.
