At the meeting, Shao Yiming, a researcher at the China Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and a member of the expert team of the vaccine research and development team of the Scientific Research Group, introduced that mixed vaccinations usually occur between vaccines of the same type and the same technical route. The main reason may be that the supply of vaccines is not available at the moment. We have done a lot of scientific research experiments before. In this case, using a vaccine with the same technical route from another manufacturer has exactly the same effect, and will not affect the protective effect or the safety of the vaccine.
Wang Huaqing, chief expert of the immunization program at the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, said that in principle we recommend using products from the same company and the same technical route to complete the two-dose or three-dose vaccination program. If there is no such special situation where products from the same company and the same technical route are not available, we recommend using products of the same technical route instead.
