"Two Stations and One Street" in Taihu Town, Tongzhou is the Yizhuang Railway Station and Ciqu Station at the end of the Yizhuang Metro Line. Together with the commercial streets along the line, it forms an important new area on the Tongzhou territory and is planned to be a Beijing-Tianjin hub. From 2012 to 2015, Vanke and Shoukai jointly acquired more than 10 plots of land in Taihu Town and built the large-scale project Vanke City Light.
Since then, due to financial problems, the development progress of the overall "Two Stations and One Street" project has been slow. In 2017, Beijing Housing Group signed an agreement with the Municipal Planning and Land Commission to complete the first-level development authorization procedures for all 58 plots of the "Two Stations and One Street" project, and the project was promoted again.
According to media reports at the time, the project leader introduced that considering that regional development is a long-term and dynamic construction process, the preliminary planning plan constructed an overall urban spatial pattern of "two axes, one ring, and multiple groups", of which two axes are The "cross-intersecting" business core axis and ecological landscape axis, the first link is the landscape corridor connecting the two axes, and the multiple groups refer to residential and industrial groups with different functions.
According to the planning plan, the total planned land area of "Two Stations and One Street" is currently 1,677 hectares. In the future, two wetland parks covering several thousand acres will appear at both ends of the area, with a green belt of 500 meters wide in the middle. connect. In this way, the area of green space and water system in the region will reach one-third of the total area. “Two Stations and One Street” has also become the largest land reserve project in Beijing.
