Hualien County is located in the eastern part of Taiwan's main island, bordering Yilan to the north, Taitung to the south, and along the ridgeline of the Central Mountain Range to the west, adjacent to Taichung City, Nantou County, and Kaohsiung City. The scenery of Shitiping is very charming
After the meal, the car went down for a few minutes to reach the scenic spot of Shitiping on the seaside. Shitiping is located in Gangkou Village, Fengbin Township, Hualien County, in eastern Taiwan. Shitiping was designated as a nature reserve within the Huadong Coastal Reserve by Taiwan’s Ministry of Interior in 1983. After the establishment of the East Coast National Scenic Area, it has also become a tourist attraction for passing vehicles and tourists. Recreation area. Because the coastal terraces here are flat and wide, the seaside side of the main channel in the area is planned as a camping area, and seaside trails are laid to lead to major scenic spots. During the Guangxu period, when the commander Wu Guangliang led his troops to open a road here, he saw these rows of stairs and called this place "Shitiping". At about three o'clock in the afternoon, the car arrived at Qixingtan Scenic Area in Beipu Village, Xincheng Township, Hualien County. The scenic spot is on the east side of Hualien Airport . Qixingtan is a bay that protrudes from the Meilunbi side; Qixingtan used to be the most prosperous place for the development of fixed-term fisheries in Hualien. In the early years, there were scattered lakes, and now it is generally called Qixingtan. It refers to the area north of Meilun Industrial Zone and Hualien Airport. The coastline stretches for more than 20 kilometers and the beach width is about 100 meters. Most of them are gravel beaches, making Qixingtan the best place to ride waves and pick up rocks in the suburbs of Hualien. . Visitors here must pay attention to two things: first, they cannot take photos facing the airport, because it is a military airport, otherwise they will get into trouble; second, they cannot pick up stones on the beach randomly, and it is not allowed.
