The so-called edge outside refers to the "willow edge". These seven towns are all in today's Jilin Province and Heilongjiang Province. Of course, Jilin Province and Heilongjiang Province at that time were not the current boundary, and there are pictures to prove it. Moreover, there was the Jilin general first and then the Heilongjiang general was divided.
1. Jilin Wula
Jilin Wula is the current Jilin Wula city. It has long existed in Jilin Wula. Moreover, it was once very glorious in history. However, as the "Seven Towns on the Border", it has nothing to do with historical glory, but because Jilin Wula was the seat of the "Jilin General" of the Qing Dynasty .
In the tenth year of Shunzhi (1653), the Qing court began to set up one person " Ningguta Anbang Zhangjing ". In the first year of Kangxi (1662), it was renamed "General of Ningguta and other places", and was abbreviated as "General of Ningguta". In the 15th year of Kangxi (1676), it was moved to Wula (also known as the "shipyard") in Jilin. From the 13th year of Yongzheng (1735) to the 22nd year of Qianlong (1757), the three names of Ningguta General, Jilin General, and Shipyard General were often mixed. In the 22nd year of Qianlong (1757), it was officially renamed "General of the Guardian Wula and other places in Jilin", abbreviated as " Jilin General ."
Under the Jilin General, five deputy commanders, Jilin, Ningguta, Sanxing, Bodune, and Alechuka, and Hunchun Special City were stationed. Jilin Wula is the seat of the "Jilin General", so this is why Jilin Wula has become the number one town of the "Seven Towns in the Border".
2. Ningguta
Current administrative area Ning'an City is a county-level city under Heilongjiang Province and is managed by Mudanjiang City .
Ningguta is an important town in the Qing Dynasty that ruled the northeastern border area. It was the capital and garrison of the Ningguta General in the Qing Dynasty. It is the military, political and economic center of the Qing government's jurisdiction north of Shengjing and the vast area of Jilin.
In the fifteenth year of Kangxi, the general moved to Wula City, Jilin, and guarded the place with the deputy governor.
3. Aihui
The current administrative area is Aihui Town, Aihui District, Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province.
Aihui is the place where the Sino-Russian Treaty of Aihui was signed. Aihui was built in the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty and was located on the left bank of Heilongjiang, which is today's area of Vixialei Village in Russia.
In the Qing Dynasty, Aihui was the garrison of the first Heilongjiang general. In 1685, it moved from the left bank of the river to the right bank of the river, which is today's Aihui City location, and rebuilt the city.
On August 3, 1900, the Russian army attacked Aihui City, and the soldiers and civilians of Aihui bravely fought against the invaders. In the end, the city was lost because they were outnumbered.
4.Bukui
is now Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province.
In the 13th year of the Kangxi reign (1674), in order to resist the invasion of Tsarist Russia, the Qing government transferred the Navy from Jilin to the Qiqihar Navy camp and set up the general manager. In the 23rd year, a firearm camp was set up in a place called Qiqihartun, ten miles away from the present , Qiqihar City, and the governors were stationed. In the 31st year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi, the city was built in Bukuitun on the east bank of the Nenjiang , named Qiqihar , and in the 37th year, the deputy commander of Melgen was moved here. The following year, the Heilongjiang General also moved to this city.
5. Sanxun
is now under the jurisdiction of Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province.
Yilan is a military center in all dynasties. The Jin Dynasty established Huli to change the road, and the Wanhu Mansion was initially established, and later the Jiedushi was changed. The Huli was established in the Yuan Dynasty to transform the Wanhu Mansion of the Military and Civilians, and the Nuer Gandu Si Huer Haiwei was established in the Ming Dynasty.
In the third year of Kangxi (1664), the three surnames city was first established in Xianglongtun, Wuguocheng Village, Yilan Town. In the 53rd year of Kangxi (1714), 200 people were selected among the Hezhe people and organized them into four banners. They were led by the Wula School of Jilin to take charge of the leadership of the commander. The following year, he built a city to garrison and became an important town in the northeastern region in the early Qing Dynasty. In the fifth year of Emperor Yongzheng (1727), he established a deputy commander. In the 33rd year of Emperor Guangxu (1907), he established a province and changed the general to the governor. The three surnames also deposed the deputy commander and changed it to Yilan Prefecture, which was under the jurisdiction of the Northeast Road.
Three surnames have always been important towns outside the border, and are also the relay port for the main line of the Songhua River waterway.
6.Mergen
is the current Nenjiang County Town of Heilongjiang Province, and is under the jurisdiction of Heihe City .
Mergen is a historical city in the northwest of Heilongjiang Province. It was once the headquarters of the General of Heilongjiang and the Deputy Chief of Melgen. After the victory of the first Yaquesa counterattack in the 25th year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1686), the city of Melgen began to be built. In 1690, the general of Heilongjiang moved from Aihui City to Melgen City and established a general's yamen in Melgen City. In 1694, the deputy commander of Heilongjiang also moved to Melgen City, and stationed with the general of Heilongjiang General, and was called the deputy commander of Melgen. Later, the Deputy Chief Melgen and the General of Heilongjiang moved to Qiqihar one after another. In 1710, the Deputy Chief Melgen was established again, until 1908, the Deputy Chief Melgen was terminated and the Nenjiang Prefecture was established.
7.Bodune
is currently located in the location of Bodu Township Government in Chengbei, Ningjiang District, Songyuan City, Jilin Province.
is the deputy commander-in-chief of Bodune. Ningjiangzhou City was built in the fourth year of Qingning in Liao Dynasty (1058), and , , was abandoned in the early stage of the Jin Dynasty. Hou Jin In the ninth year of Tiancong (1635), the Bodune Bing Station was established at the former site of Ningjiang Prefecture. In the 24th year of Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1693), the Wula Jilin to Heilongjiang Chengyi Road was established, and the Bodune Bing Station was established. In the 31st year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi (1700), the deputy governor of Jilin was transferred here and was renamed the deputy governor of Bodune.
