953, Beijing, Zhongnanhai .
"Are you wrong?"
The person who spoke was Yang Shangkun, then deputy secretary-general of the CPC Central Committee, director of the General Office of the Central Military Commission and secretary-general of the Central Military Commission. He looked at the two young young people in front of him, and the more he looked, the more he looked, the worse it was.
The two young people in front of me are of similar age. One of them is Lin, named Lin Bingsu, and is the son of Lin Boqu; the other is Deng, named Deng Susheng, and is the son of Deng Zihui, .
Yang Shangkun found Lin Boqu and Deng Zihui and said carelessly: "Old Lin and Mr. Deng, your son is wrong, right? I see Bingsu's eyes are big and white skin, and he is a copy of Mr. Deng; Mr. Deng's Su Sheng is like Mr. Lin's son!"
Lin Boqu and Deng Zihui were stunned. How could our own son make a mistake? ! But if you think about it carefully, this is really the case? Does his son really look like him? If you are really wrong, this is a big mistake!
Lin Boqu and Deng Zihui quickly sent someone to investigate. It doesn’t matter if this investigation was made. An incredible news came back:
is really wrong! Their two sons were "split"!
One surname is Lin, from Hunan; the other surname is Deng, from Fujian. This year, their son was already 19 years old, how could he make such a big mistake? Behind this is a heartbreaking and extremely touching tortuous story...

Deng Susheng and Lin Bingsu took a photo
In this story, there are 6 protagonists in total. Let’s first introduce Lin Boqu and Deng Zihui.
Speaking of Lin Boqu, everyone knows that he is one of the famous "Five Elders of Yan'an", namely Dong Biwu, Xu Teli, Xie
Juezai, and Wu Yuzhang. The reason why Lin Boqu is ranked among the "Five Elders" is not only because he is old, but more importantly because of his profound qualifications.
886, Lin Boqu was born in an ordinary rural family in Liangshuijing Village, Xiumei Town, Linli County, Hunan Province. He is 7 years older than Mao Zedong, a fellow villager in Hunan.
Lin Boqu participated in the revolution very early. He went to Japan to study at the age of 18 and joined the China Tongmenghui at the age of 19, becoming the first member of the Tongmenghui , and began his long revolutionary career. At that time, the Communist Party of China had not yet been established. Lin Boqu chose to follow Sun Yat-sen on the road to finding light and participated in a series of major revolutionary activities.
However, the counterattack of reactionary forces and the tortuous revolutionary path made Lin Boqu once confused about China's revolutionary future. At this time, he was exposed to Marxism and was deeply attracted by this idea. In early 1921, Lin Boqu joined the Communist Party, which later became the Communist Party of China, and his introduction to the party was the famous Li Dazhao and Chen Duxiu.
Lin Boqu joined the Communist Party of China, still stayed in Korean , assisted Sun Yat-sen in reorganizing the Kuomintang, and successively served as deputy minister of the General Affairs Department of the Central Party Department of the Kuomintang, standing committee member of the Central Executive Committee, minister of peasants and secretary-general of the Military Commission of the National Government, and made great contributions to the first cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party and the great revolution.
From this perspective, Lin Boqu is a well-deserved veteran, whether within the Kuomintang or the Communist Party. No wonder Mao Zedong would respectfully call him "Old Lin" when he saw him in the future.
927, Chiang Kai-shek and Wang Jingwei successively betrayed the revolution, massacred Communists, and implemented the "Ninghan Confluence", and the whole country fell into a white terror. Lin Boqu resolutely chose to arm the Kuomintang reactionaries and participated in leading the "August 1" Nanchang Uprising. After the failure of the uprising, most of the troops moved south, and Lin Boqu was sent by the Party Central Committee to study at Sun Yat-sen University in Moscow, laying a solid foundation for future revolutionary work.
1933, Lin Boqu returned to China after his studies and entered the Central Soviet Area to serve as the Minister of National Economy of the Central Government of the Soviet Republic of China and the Minister of Finance and People's Committee. His former minister was another protagonist of this story - Deng Zihui.

Linboqu
Deng Zihui is from Longyan, Fujian. He was born in 1896 and is 10 years younger than Linboqu. However, the difficulties and twists and turns of Deng Zihui's early revolutionary experience are no less than Lin Boqu, one of the "Five Elders of Yan'an".
is similar to Lin Boqu. Deng Zihui developed the idea of revolutionary saving the country at a young age. He was influenced by
Revolution . At the age of 19, he joined the Chinese Revolutionary Party led by Sun Yat-sen when he was studying in middle school and began to explore the truth of saving the country and the people.
After that, Deng Zihui worked as a primary school teacher and a grocery clerk. He was used to seeing the turmoil of society and the life at the bottom of the country. He gradually realized that Sun Yat-sen's revolutionary thought did not have the power to save China. He gradually accepted a new idea - Marxism, and joined the Communist Party of China in the revolutionary storm that swept across the country.
After joining the Communist Party of China, Deng Zihui quickly showed his outstanding talents. He can not only engage in political work, but also military affairs.
Since the first cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party broke down, Deng Zihui resolutely embarked on the red revolutionary path without hesitation. He risked being wanted by the Kuomintang and engaged in underground work in his hometown, Longyan area, participated in leading the Longyan Houtian riot, established the first peasant guerrilla team in western Fujian, and began the great struggle to create the western Fujian Soviet area.
During the Agrarian Revolution, the enemy was strong and we were weak, and the revolutionary struggle was extremely difficult, but Deng Zihui was not afraid at all, nor did he give up easily. From 1927 to 1930, Deng Zihui mainly did three major tasks: First, lead the riots of workers and peasants and establish workers and peasants' armed forces; second, carry out guerrilla wars and armed resistance to the enemy; third, carry out a land revolution and defeat the local tyrants and share the land.
Do these tricks look familiar? That's right, it's surprisingly consistent with Mao Zedong's strategic thinking, it's strange that it's not successful.
Relying on these "three fires", Deng Zihui only took three years to develop the western Fujian Soviet Area, which he founded, to its peak. It is 300 miles in a radius and a population of nearly one million. It has 8 county party committees, 53 district committees, 546 branches, and more than 10,000 party members. It has established a Soviet government in 6 counties, more than 60 districts and 597 townships, echoing the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base and becoming a "thorn in the side" of the Kuomintang reactionaries.
At the same time, local workers and peasants armed forces in western Fujian were formally formed into the 12th Army of the Chinese Workers and Peasants Red Army. Deng Zihui, as secretary of the Fujian-Western Special Committee of the Communist Party of China, also served as the political commissar of the 12th Army.
Judging from Deng Zihui's early revolutionary experience, he is an excellent cadre with comprehensive abilities and pioneering skills. Of course, such a cadre will not live in a place for a long time.
1 In November 1931, Deng Zihui was elected as Minister of Finance of the Provisional Central Government of the Chinese Soviet Republic, and also served as Acting Minister of Land, and later also served as Minister of National Economy.

Deng Zihui
During the Agrarian Revolution, there was no need to say much about the importance of land and finance. Without money, the Red Army could not revolutionize; without land, the people would not support the Red Army, and these two tasks were exactly what Deng Zihui was good at. He, the "God of Wealth" and "Land Master " focused on finance on one hand and land on the other, making the tax economy of the Central Soviet Area rich and the tax economy of the Central Soviet Area vivid, which helped to ensure the logistics supply of the Soviet Area and the logistics supply of the Central Red Army against "encirclement and suppression". He belonged to "a revolutionary hero without military merit."
It was during the Central Soviet period that Lin Boqu and Deng Zihui, the two "Minister of Finance", met for the first time, and began a revolutionary years of fighting side by side, and also started a tortuous and moving story through their descendants.
Next, two heroines in this story appeared.
1934, two baby boys cried loudly and came to Ruijin, Jiangxi, this red revolutionary world. These two baby boys are the sons of Lin Boqu and Deng Zihui, and are also the other two male protagonists in this story.
The one who gave birth to a son for Lin Boqu was his wife Fan Lechun.
Fan Lechun is from Yongding, Fujian Province. She was born in 1903 and is 17 years younger than Lin Boqu. She is a true heroine, participated in the peasant movement, launched the Yongding riot, was elected as a member of the Fujian-Xiang Special Committee of the Communist Party of China, had a very good relationship with Deng Zihui, and was also the only female executive member of the first female central committee of the Chinese Soviet Republic.
It was during his work in the Central Soviet Area that Fan Lechun met Lin Boqu. Although the two had a 17-year-old age difference, this did not hinder the love of the revolutionary couple. In October 1934, Lin Boqu and Fan Lechun's son was born.
The one who gave birth to a son for Deng Zihui was his second wife Huang Xiuxiang.
Huang Xiuxiang is also from Longyan, Fujian. She is very close to Deng Zihui's home. The two met during the revolution, but at the beginning they were just gay relationships and did not walk together. In 1932, Deng Zihui and Huang Xiuxiang went to Ruijin one after another. Deng Zihui served as the Minister of Finance, and Huang Xiuxiang later worked as an accountant in the Ministry of Finance. The two fell in love over time and finally got together.
1934, Deng Zihui and Huang Xiuxiang's son was born.
However, what greeted the two newborn babies was not the warm embrace of their parents, but the sound of gunfire from the enemy's increasingly approaching army, and the footsteps of the Central Red Army leaving the Central Soviet Area in a hurry.
At this time, the Central Red Army had decided to Long March 2. The future was difficult and life was uncertain. It was a complete life-and-death situation with two babies in their cradles. Whether adults or children, they would fall into an extremely dangerous situation.
For the sake of the safety of the child, the two parents endured the pain and made an inseparable decision: Leave the child behind.

Deng Zihui took a photo with his wife Chen Lan
Two women who were mothers for the first time - Fan Lechun and Huang Xiuxiang were cruel and handed over the two hungry children together with the only few silver dollars to Fan Lechun's cousin's cousin sister-in-law who made a living in Huichang, southern Jiangxi.
Fan Lechun sent the child out with his trembling hands, looked at the child for the last time, and left a sentence with tears in his eyes: "Sister-in-law, these two are both children of the Red Army, one is Lin and the other is Deng. Please find someone to raise it!"
The cousin's wife was just an ordinary woman. She took the child, nodded, and agreed.
On this day, Lin Boqu and Fan Lechun's son was only 15 days old, while Deng Zihui and Huang Xiuxiang's son was only 3 days old. From then on, the two children never saw their biological mother again because their mothers died in battle.
After entrusting the child, the two couples embarked on different directions. Lin Boqu embarked on the arduous journey of the Long March at the age of nearly 50, while Deng Zihui risked his life to return to western Fujian and led the arduous guerrilla warfare for three years.
Fan Lechun and Huang Xiuxiang were separated from their husbands after crying for goodbye to the child. Like Deng Zihui, Fan Lechun returned to southwestern Fujian and participated in and led the guerrilla war and local anti-Japanese war for three years.
1941, Fan Lechun died of illness due to overwork and was only 39 years old.
Huang Xiuxiang chose to follow the army to break through in the direction of Huichang . During the tragic Huichang breakout battle, Huang Xiuxiang was seriously injured, captured by the Kuomintang army, and killed by the enemy outside Huichang City. She was only 24 years old.
Two young mothers died of illness one after another, and the two fathers were determined to revolution and had no time to find their own children. This was the most common norm in that war-torn era at that time. Many people of lofty ideals lost their closest relatives. Without the sacrifice of them and their families, how could there be the stability of future generations and family happiness!
Fan Lechun's cousin-in-law are both poor peasants and are unable to raise two babies with red marks at the same time. They have to leave the children of Deng Zihui and Huang Xiuxiang, who were only three days old, and transfer Lin Boqu and Fan Lechun's children to a family with the surname Lai.
It is hard for us to imagine that under the suffocating white horror at that time, in the harsh situation where our family could not have enough food, what kind of emotions and courage did these two kind mothers raise their two children? But what we know is that they regard the sons of the Red Army as their biological children. No, they let their biological children go to farm, but they send the two Red Army children to study.

Deng Zihui
They are poor, they are not educated, but they understand that these two children are the roots of the Red Army, and they pour their love and love for the Red Army into their children. This is our people, our cutest and greatest people!
Under the care of countless old mothers in the old district, the two children grew up. The mother of Fazi (Fan Lechun's cousin) named the child Fan Yide (the child of Deng Zihui and Huang Xiuxiang), and the mother of Man named the child Lai Pingya (the child of Lin Boqu and Fan Lechun).
The only regret is that Lai Pingya later fell ill and had a high fever that was not subsided. Due to the medical conditions at that time, he was disabled on one leg. However, his grandmother, Man Gu, loved this miserable child very much. After he was admitted to a private school for several years, he sent him to learn to be a tailor.
Time flies, and in the blink of an eye, the two children have grown up, and our country has ushered in peace and rebirth.
After the founding of New China, the overall situation was initially decided. Lin Boqu was elected Secretary-General of the Central People's Government Committee of the People's Republic of my country and also presided over the founding ceremony of on the Tiananmen Gate Tower; Deng Zihui served as the first vice chairman of Central South Military and Political Committee , presided over the work of the Central South Bureau. Two revolutionaries who have experienced countless hardships have become senior leading cadres of our party and our country.
At this time, Lin Boqu and Deng Zihui remembered their sons who stayed in in the Soviet area and entrusted comrades from the Ganzhou Military Control Commission to assist in the search. At the beginning, they did not have much expectations. After all, fifteen years have passed, and everyone is in danger. Their mother has already died. Will the two children in their infancy still live in this world?
What’s surprising is that the two children really found it! They are still in their mother's house, and are already 15 years old and have become big guys. It was not until this time that they realized that they were descendants of the Red Army...
In this way, the two children reluctantly bid farewell to the mothers who shared weal and woe, and went to Wuhan together.
Lai Pingya, who was unable to walk, was sent to the home of Deng Zihui, then the first vice chairman of the Central South Military and Political Committee. 54-year-old Deng Zihui touched his son's head with mixed feelings, and tears couldn't help but flow. In order to commemorate his wife Huang Xiuxiang who died heroically in the Soviet area, Deng Zihui named the child Deng Susheng , which means he was born in the Soviet area.

(Photo taken by Deng Zihui's family, the one standing on the left in the back row is Deng Susheng, who is actually the son of Lin Boqu)
Another child named Fan Yide was sent to Zhongnanhai. At the home of Lin Boqu, who was then the Secretary-General of the Central People's Government, the 63-year-old Lin met his son again, and burst into tears in his eyes. He changed his son's name to Lin Bingsu , which means adhering to the revolutionary tradition of the Soviet area.
Whether it is Deng Susheng or Lin Bingsu, they have formed an indissoluble bond with the Central Soviet Area. The two fathers also hope that through this move, they will not forget the grace of the people in the Soviet Area.
Late happiness is also happiness. From then on, the two fathers and sons who met again lived a peaceful and happy life.
It was not until early 1953 that Deng Zihui, who served as the Minister of the Rural Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, moved his family to Beijing, and Deng Susheng and Lin Bingsu, the two brothers who grew up in the Soviet area, finally got together again in Zhongnanhai.
At the beginning, neither family noticed any problem, but over time, more people saw two children, but everyone saw the problem.
The first person to find the problem was Yang Shangkun, the then Director of the General Office of the Central Committee. He saw two children for the first time. He looked around and felt something was wrong. He shouted in surprise: "Is it wrong? Bingsu's eyes are big and white skin is a copy of Mr. Deng. He is not like Mr. Lin!"
Cai Chang 's mother also saw the difference. She looked at Deng Susheng lovingly and said: "This child looks exactly the same as Martyr Fan Lechun, so similar..."
Now, Lin Boqu and Deng Zihui were shocked. Could it be that they really made a mistake? They hurriedly sent someone to Jiangxi to find Fazi's mother to ask. When the old man saw that he could not let it go, he told the truth with tears.

Lin Boqu’s family took a photo (Lin Boqu’s latter is his son Deng Susheng)
It turned out that when the government sent someone to find the two children of the Red Army, the grandma of the father-in-law (adopted the children of Deng Zihui and Huang Xiuxiang, and was in good health) thinks another child (Lai Pingya, Lin Boqu and Fan Le Chun’s child) One leg is disabled because she has not taken good care of herself. I’m sorry for the sacrificed martyr Fan Lechun, so the kind-hearted she deliberately “dropped her bag”. sent the healthy Fan Yide (the child of Deng Zihui and Huang Xiuxiang) to Lin Boqu’s house, and the disabled Lai Pingya (the child of Lin Boqu and Fan Lechun) to Deng Zihui’s house!
Everything came to light, and the mother of Fazai was very regretful, but the father of the two children had no intention of blame. On the contrary, they were always grateful for the kindness of the people of the Soviet area for raising them. If the child was wrong, it would be better to exchange it for it!
So, Deng Zihui changed his name to his real son Lin Bingsu Deng Ruisheng , meaning that he was born in Ruijin; Lin Boqu just changed his surname to Lin for his real son, and his name remains unchanged, and he is Lin Susheng , meaning that he was born in the Soviet area.
Regularly speaking, the two children who were "dropped" should be their own home, but unexpectedly, the two children who were already sensible did not agree. They felt that the name was just a symbol and there was no need to change it. We still used our original name, and both of them had feelings for their first "father" and their families, so they decided to live in turn in the future and have two happy families. After the unsolved case of "changing the wrong son" spread, everyone felt it was incredible and moved. The next year, Lin Boqu was elected vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, and Deng Zihui served as vice premier of the State Council. People said relish: "The vice chairman and the vice premier admitted their wrong son, but they had two sons at the same time..."

After that, two children with special destiny grew up next to their father. They did not forget the two mothers who raised them. They used their own different ways to repay the elderly's raising grace.
Deng Zihui was grateful for his son's filial piety and squeezed out 10 yuan every month from his already inadequate salary, and asked his son Lin Bingsu to send it to his Fazi's mother in Jiangxi. After graduating from university, Lin Bingsu specially returned to Jiangxi to visit his grandmother and her nanny family, leaving behind a precious family photo. Although he was already the son of the vice premier, he still regarded the farmer's mother as his own mother. Later, he returned to Hunan and worked as an ordinary engineer at Xiangtan Motor Factory .
Lin Boqu's son Deng Susheng chose to return to Ganzhou, Jiangxi after graduating from university. He worked in the Ganzhou Intermediate Court and became a people's judge. The first thing he did after paying his monthly salary was to send his living expenses to Grandma Man Gu. In Ganzhou , when people mention "lame judge", they praise him and say, "That's really a passionate and kind person!"
This is the legendary story between Lin Boqu and Fan Lechun, Deng Zihui and Huang Xiuxiang, Lin Bingsu and Deng Susheng, and his mothers. Each of them has experienced the baptism of blood and fire, some have sacrificed heroically, some have suffered, and some have grown up hard... They used family affection beyond their blood to compose a revolutionary song with great love in the world and deep love for fish and water.

I would like to pay tribute to the revolutionary martyrs and patriots! Without them, there would be no happy life we have today!
