Many people believe that when Liu Bang became emperor, Han Xin lost its value, so he was "hidden by the bow" by Liu Bang. In fact, for Liu Bang, Han Xin's value is very great, but Han Xin's self-esteem was trampled by Liu Bang, so Han Xin's temper broke out and no longer wanted to "bent on his back" or "bent on his back to serve the powerful and noble."

Han Xin stills
Of course, Han Xin's identity is not low, and he is still a "marquis" after being demoted to another level. This is a glory that Li Guang has never received in his life, so he is more than enough to be among the powerful. Didn’t even Wuyang Hou Fan Kuai knelt in front of him and shouted “king”? You should know that Fan Kuai is Liu Bang's brother-in-law, Empress Lü 's brother-in-law, The famous founding hero of the Western Han Dynasty, and is still half a relative of the foreign country. But at that time, Han Xin had a very big gap with Liu Bang, and it was only a matter of fact that he could only say that he was a big mistake.
Looking at history, two people could have been on par, and even Liu Bang had to look at Han Xin's face, but Han Xin was put into a dead end and was eventually killed by Liu Bang. Therefore, many people think that Han Xin followed the old path of text in the Spring and Autumn Period, and Liu Bang was the copy of Goujian .

Stills from Liu Bang and Han Xin
During the Spring and Autumn Period, after the revenge of King Goujian of Yue, his two great heroes, one was Fan Li, who went to the mountains and rivers; the other was Wen Zhong, who stayed to eat meat and drink with him. As a result, Goujian confiscated the guy who had eaten in Wen Zhong. So Wen Zhong became a laughing stock in history, and has been criticized for more than two thousand years.
Sima Qian in "Records of the Grand Historian" wrote:
Fan Li then left and sent a letter from Qi to the doctor who planted a book saying: The birds are gone, and the good bow is hidden; the cunning rabbit dies, and the lackeys are cooked. ——"Records of the Grand Historian: The Family of Goujian, King of Yue"
means that Fan Li predicted his future, and he believed that Goujian could share hardships and not wealth and honor, so he wanted to leave and live, and he also advised Wen Zhong to go with him. However, Wen Zhong was reluctant to leave the glory and wealth he had won, so Fan Li had no choice but to leave a piece of advice.

Kuai Che's stills
Han Xin conquered Qi , Kuai Che said to Han Xin, if you don't leave Liu Bang and go solo, it will be the same as Wen Zhong. Han Xin disagreed. He said that Liu Bang had a kind and righteous person, and he would take off his clothes and push him to eat and eat me. How could I be a wolf with a rolling eyes? Kuai Che shook his head and thought to himself that being with you would only be unlucky, so he also followed Fan Li to leave.
There was indeed an opportunity in front of Han Xin at that time, that was, when Liu Bang and Xiang Yu were in a chasm, he had to stand up. This is equivalent to being able to share the cake with Liu Bang and Xiang Yu, but Han Xin did not seize this opportunity. Because Han Xin believes that rather than taking a knife to cut it, it is better for Liu Bang to cut it into his hand. This is legitimate and he will not be stained on himself, so that he will not be able to get stabbed by others. Perhaps more importantly, he does not have to take certain risks. However, this move means that Han Xin gave up the initiative and was willing to accept Liu Bang's domination, which also laid the groundwork for his demotion and imprisonment.

Several years later, when Han Xin was executed by Empress Lu in Changle Palace , he sighed that he had the same fate as Wen Zhong and regretted not listening to Kuai Che's advice. In fact, since Liu Bang caught Yunmengze, Han Xin regretted his choice back then, so he shouted to Liu Bang: It turns out that the rabbit is dead and the dog is cooked, and the bird is hidden! Because Han Xin had no intention of Liu Bang at the beginning, he offered Zhongli Mei's head to eliminate Liu Bang's fear of him.
This shows that Han Xin has always been resentful of independence and has always been illusory and luck towards Liu Bang, so he has been struggling on the brink of conflict. As a result, Liu Bang and his wife had a mixed doubles, which made Han Xin dizzy and complain.

Hou Lu stills
In fact, Liu Bang's logic is very simple, that is, he regards Han Xin as an unstable factor and treats him as a time bomb, so he must be eliminated as quickly as possible. But he had no definite reason to kill Han Xin, so he had to demote and trap him, just like putting a tiger in a cage.
In the end, Han Xin was still killed, Empress Lü was the mastermind, Liu Bang agreed to the result, and the couple played a double act. Yu Liu Bang just felt a little useless, because since Han Xin was demoted to Huaiyin Hou , he no longer contributed to him. Whenever Liu Bang was about to go to war, Han Xin said that he was sick. Obviously, if Han Xin could help Liu Bang, Liu Bang would not have been surrounded by Maodun Shanyu in Baideng Mountain for seven days and nights, nor would he be beaten by an arrow from yingbu , allowing him to ride on the crane's back early.

The reason why Empress Lu killed Han Xin was to infer that he rebelled and planned his plan to capture in a intensive manner, and even let Xiao He come forward. However, there are many opinions on whether Han Xin rebelled and believed that he was wronged, because he had no chance at all. Indeed, from the situation at that time, Han Xin did not have that ability. The reason was very simple. He lived in the capital Chang'an , which is Liu Bang's territory. He was monitored everywhere, and he had no soldiers. His servants were also unfaithful to him, so doing that was tantamount to a moth to a fire.
Sima Qian recorded in "Records of the Grand Historian" that Han Xin first colluded with Chen Xi and as an internal agent, and then prepared to issue a forgery edict to release prison prisoners, and then armed them to attack the queen, kill Empress Lü and the prince Liu Ying . But this statement is theoretically valid and it is too difficult to operate in practice. Even if the prisoners obey his orders, where do the weapons come from?
Yin sent someone to the Guanyuan and said, "I will raise an army, and I will help the Duke from now on." Xin then planned to commit suicide with his retainers at night to pardon the officials and slaves, and wanted to send him to attack Empress Lü and the Crown Prince. The deployment has been decided and is to be reported. The one who gave up the man offended Xin, and Xin was imprisoned and wanted to kill him. The son of the son changed his mind and told him that he wanted to rebel against Empress Lü. ——"Records of the Grand Historian: Biography of the Marquis of Huaiyin"
And it is also a difficult problem for Han Xin to contact Chen Xi, because his every move should be controlled by Liu Bang and Empress Lu. Who will he send to deliver the letter? So even if Chen Xi could defeat Liu Bang, Han Xin would not be able to get the news as soon as possible. In the end, when Xiao He deceived Han Xin, he took advantage of the asymmetry of information and lied that Liu Bang had already won triumph. The truth is that the war was in a stalemate and the outcome was unpredictable. However, in the face of Sima Qian's convincing words, the opposite view of later generations seemed to be insufficient, so they had to believe it. Moreover, some well-known scholars inferred the complete chain of Han Xin's rebellion.
However, a considerable number of people do not accept the fact that Han Xin rebelled emotionally, but believe that Han Xin has no value in Liu Bang's eyes. Liu Bang and Gou Jian played cards in a routine, and the other did their own things, and killed the donkey.
In fact, putting aside those factors, there is no solution to the situation of Han Xin’s death .
1. It was imperative for Liu Bang to eliminate princes of different surnames. He did not want to be just a false reputation of an emperor, and did not want the world to return to the disputes between the nations. In other words, it is an inevitable trend to unify by , and Liu Bang got the baton of Qin Shihuang . Therefore, Han Xin, who is the most military talent, became the first nail that Liu Bang pulled out.
The reason why Liu Bang did not kill Han Xin immediately was not that there was no evidence or thought of the old love, but that it was useful. He wanted to use Han Xin to stabilize the emotions of the princes in the world, treat them as frogs, and then cook them with warm water. Just imagine, if Liu Bang directly executed Han Xin, all the princes would inevitably be in danger, and then they would join forces to attack him. Therefore, Liu Bang's move is called "not alert to the snake when he fights the grass."
2. Han Xin is not a person in the "Fengpei Group" circle and cannot be completely separated from Liu Bang. There are three types of people who helped Liu Bang conquer the world. One is brought from Pei County and Fengyi, such as Xiao He, Cao Shen, Fan Kuai, Zhoubo , Xiahou Ying , etc.; the other is a group of people who joined the group halfway, such as Chen Ping, Han Xin, Chen Ying , Han Wangxin, Wangling , etc.; the other is allies, such as Yingbu, Zang Tu , Peng Yue , Wu Rui , etc.
Among these three types of people, "Fengpei Group" is Liu Bang's core backbone. Liu Bang will treat them as "his own people" from the bottom of his heart, and will naturally be more distant from others. Although Liu Bang, as a shrewd politician, will not classify them openly, there must be differences in importance in his bones. Therefore, Liu Bang would subconsciously regard Han Xin as a person who has "a different dream" in his mind, and Han Xin did not integrate into Fengpei Group's actions. Therefore, from this perspective, Han Xin lost another gold medal to avoid death.
3. Han Xin's military ability and age are obstacles that Liu Bang cannot avoid. Han Xin's military ability is obvious to all, which is enough to make everyone around him afraid of it, so naturally Liu Bang couldn't sleep well. In fact, Han Xin also has an important capital, that is, youth. Liu Bang became a calendar at the age of 62. Han Xin was a year earlier than him. He was only in his early thirties at that time, like one was the sun was weak and the other was the sun was in the face of the bright sun. Obviously, if Liu Bang did not kill Han Xin, then after his death, Han Xin would be a terrifying and long-lasting existence to the Han Dynasty.
To sum up, Han Xin accidentally put three "tight coils" on Liu Bang's head. Liu Bang would not feel comfortable if he didn't kill Han Xin's head. Some people also say that Han Xin offended Liu Bang in many things, such as not saving his life in the Battle of Xingyang, threatening to become king against Honggou, and holding troops before the Battle of Gaixia, etc. In fact, these reasons are all from a secular perspective. Liu Bang is a person who does everything he wants to accomplish. His pattern is the world, not a personal grudge.
