won’t say that the Chinese Democratic Party is not talking about. After all, the Kuomintang and the Democratic Progressive Party themselves are not in opposition. Now even some veterans within the Democratic Progressive Party have begun to stand up and publicly fight against the Tsai Ing-wen authorities.
For example, Lu Chaocai, who was once the founder of the Democratic Progressive Party, has been actively promoting "anti-Taiwan independence" demonstrations in recent years, and has clearly pointed out that Taiwan's future only lies in cross-strait reunification. The Tsai Ing-wen administration's current situation will only make them completely defeated.
According to media reports on the island, Lu Chaocai started in the middle and late 1980s. When the DPP was initially prepared to establish, it was already an old man who joined the DPP as a veteran. He stood up and publicly opposed the wrong policies of the Tsai Ing-wen administration, which is actually very representative.
The current Democratic Progressive Party has changed its "nature" and embarked on the road of "Taiwan independence". So Lu Chaocai left the party and established the "National Veteran Headquarters", which later became the "Unified Volunteer Army", calling himself the "Commander-in-Chief of the Unified Volunteer Army".
At the beginning, the DPP was able to rise on the island mainly due to two reasons. From this we can see that when the DPP was first established, it was actually just to oppose the Chiang family's long-term rule of Taiwan, not for "Taiwan independence". Now that the Chiang family is no longer there, the Tsai Ing-wen administration has used the appeal and cohesion of the Democratic Progressive Party to attempt to achieve "Taiwan independence" and harm the interests of the reunification of the motherland.
And what the DPP people do now cannot represent Taiwanese compatriots. As a veteran of the DPP, Lu Chaocai has now stood up and resolutely opposed "Taiwan independence" and held demonstrations to mobilize Taiwanese compatriots to remove the "poisonous weeds" in Tsai Ing-wen's crop. There is no doubt that this is.
On the other hand, the voices on the island that oppose the DPP authorities' "Taiwan independence" have always existed, but because the media is still controlled by capital, and capital is mostly controlled by Western mainstream media .
Therefore, there are actually not many former DPP veterans like Lu Chaocai who oppose "Taiwan independence", but the public opinion that could represent the public opinion on the island in the past was suppressed by the DPP authorities.
But now this situation is obviously not applicable. The degree of collusion between the DPP and the United States is getting deeper and deeper, and the situation between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait is gradually tense. The degree of threat felt by Taiwanese compatriots is gradually increasing. Of course, the DPP's behavior of taking Taiwanese compatriots into the abyss has begun to become increasingly rejected.
