aotiandu (1912-1939), also known as Xue Xi, was born in 1912 in a farmer's home in Baiqisi Village, Sun Town, Pucheng County, Shaanxi Province.
1920 went to Zhongjiazhai Junior Primary School to study. In 1924, he was admitted to Ganbei Village, the hometown of General Yang Hucheng, and graduated in 1926. Later, he was admitted to Shaanxi Provincial Second Normal School. He joined the Communist Youth League half a year ago in 1928 and was transferred to the Second Division with the introduction of the Pucheng County Committee of the Communist Party of China. In the summer of 1932, Ding Benchun succeeded as Secretary of the Third Special Branch of the Second Division, and Ao Tiandu became a member of the Communist Party. Under the leadership of the Special Branch, he participated in many revolutionary activities. In 1933, when commemorating the May Day Labor Day, a fight with the reactionary principal Ma Fenggang was fought. Ma Fenggang colluded with the garrison of Dali and to attempt to arrest Ding Benchun and others. Ding Benchun and others had no choice but to leave the school. Ding Benchun and others left the school, and the party members left behind were Zhao Shiqi, Shen Baoshan, Ao Tiandu and others to continue fighting.
After graduating from the Second Division of Aotiandu, he joined the General Yang Hucheng's troops. After the peaceful resolution of the Xi'an Incident, on May 7, 1937, the Nanjing government abolished the headquarters of the 17th Route Army and organized the remaining troops into the 38th Army. Aotiandu was incorporated into the Third Shaanxi Garrison Brigade of Wang Zhenhua, the 38th Army of Sun Weiru. In August of the same year, he followed his troops from Yaoxian to Hancheng in eastern Shaanxi to defend the Yellow River. In June 1938, Chiang Kai-shek reorganized the 38th Army into the 31st Legion. The Third Guard Brigade was adapted into the 47th Independent Brigade of the 96th Army of Li Xingzhong. Aotiandu appointed the 741st Regiment of the brigade (the commander was first Fan Yunong , and then replaced by Li Jiaji. After Li was killed, he was appointed as the lieutenant and deputy of the Third Battalion Division. On July 12 of the same year, he crossed the Yellow River with his troops to the east and entered Jin to fight against Japan.
died in the battle against Japan in Pinglu County, Shanxi Province in June 1939. After the detailed report on his sacrifice, the National Government Military Commission specially approved the first-level preferential treatment, with a one-time payment of 600 yuan and an annual payment of 320 yuan.
