In an era when extreme left-wing thoughts are rampant, many aspiring young people have suffered discrimination due to so-called family elements and background issues. When most of the "Cultural Revolution" were inserted back to the city, he still stayed in the countryside. He worked with Yang Shiheng, a rural doctor with a similar fate, and left a story of regaining the life of a drowning child from the god of death. In the afternoon of the summer of 1967, the sun was scorching, and Meng Jinjia finished her farm work and was eating porridge at home. Suddenly, he heard the scream of a member Ma Ting pointing at the Baimatang in front of the door: "Save people quickly! Someone has fallen into the pond!" He put down the bowl and ran to the pond to see that it was a child sinking at the bottom of the water about one meter deep. Without saying a word, he jumped into the pond immediately, picked up the child and placed it on the shore.

He asked Ma Ting to take care of it first, and then quickly ran to the home of Yang Shiheng, a rural doctor in the embankment. Dr. Yang, who was cooking porridge in the kitchen of the back room, immediately extinguished the fire, took the medicine box, and ran with him to the place where the accident happened.
Ma Ting has taken off the door panel and placed it obliquely on the threshold. The fainting child named Akang is the son of Liu Niang. He lies on the door panel with his belly bulging and his lips purple and black. Ma Ting then went to tell Liu Niang.

However, the crying could not disturb Dr. Yang's rescue, and he continued to do artificial respiration patiently. Time passes by minute by minute. Suddenly, Akang squirted out a sip of water, and cried out with a wow sound... Seeing this, Liu Niang turned to laugh. She knelt down and cried to Akang. She immediately turned around and kowtowed to Dr. Yang, thanking her continuously.

In this regard, Dr. Yang seemed indifferent and continued to work on his business: turn Akang's head, head down, feet up, lying on the door panel, and then gently rub the bloated belly to let the water flow out of his mouth. After a while, his stomach became dry and Akang was able to cry continuously. Dr. Yang breathed a sigh of relief, and saw him sweating profusely, slowly packing the medicine box. According to Meng Jinjia's subsequent calculations, by the time Akang cried for the first time, Akang stopped breathing for at least 24 minutes. It is still unknown how long he had been in the water. It is indeed a miracle to be able to revive the dead. Time is life! Meng Jinjia, the educated youth who was sent to the team, performed in this incident, also highlighted his noble character in ordinary small things.

His medical skills are not recognized by local leaders. Although he has a medical certificate, he is not allowed to be listed to cooperate with to fight against . In order to support his family, Dr. Yang had to work in the production team. The member asked him to see a doctor, but he was still very enthusiastic, but most of them were free medical treatments and there was no charge for them... After reform and opening up , his fate certainly improved.
The author is not surprised by Dr. Yang’s experience. I studied medical knowledge systematically for 5 years before going to the countryside, and after I went to the countryside, I was just a sanitary at most. Who would have expected that he would go to the Yulin Regional Medical Information Institute in the future and become a business leader. Meng Jinjia was born in 1947. After going to the countryside, she experienced hard training in the countryside.
