In order to suppress the Fujian anti-Yuan uprising army, a large number of Yuan army returned to Fujian. The Marshal Suodu personally led elite troops to launch a fierce attack on the rebels in the area of Hunei Village, Zhao'an, Zhangzhou.
The rebel army attacked on the dangerous side, defeated Suodu wisely, and wiped out the Yuan army. Suodu was injured and wades from the water, and was only spared. Because of his defeat, Suodu was dismissed from office by the Yuan court.
