Why are so many people missing Chairman Mao now? Miss Mao Zedong era? Because Chairman Mao’s wisdom and courage and a great man with a broad mind in the world are worthy of our eternal remembrance. Because although the Mao Zedong era was poor and backward, it was the most clean and upright era in Chinese history, the most proud era for the people, and the era in which no imperialism or its lackey dared to offend our China!
Although the people's lives were very hard in that era and the national economy was very backward, this was not what Chairman Mao and his Party Central Committee wanted to see, because it was an era of exploration, an era of crossing the river by feeling the stones, and there was no ready-made model for building socialism, because we started from scratch on the basis of poverty and negligence, and there was also the blockade of world imperialism, which was amazing to allow people across the country to eat and wear warmth! Although the people's food and clothing problem has not been completely solved, without the experience and lessons of that era, it would be difficult to have the subsequent reform and opening up, and the current country is prosperous and the people are strong. As Comrade Deng Xiaoping pointed out: Without Chairman Mao, we would have explored in the dark for a longer time! Therefore, we must look at the people and things of that era from the perspective of historical materialism , and use dialectics to analyze the success and failure of that era.
We miss that era, not to go back to the past, but to regain the uplifting spiritual outlook of that era, to rekindle the spiritual motivation of everyone with faith in that era, promote the clean and upright tradition of that era, better integrate into the trend of today's new era of socialism, to forge ahead bravely, and realize the true civilization, prosperity and strength of the Chinese nation!
This is why we often miss Chairman Mao, and why we always miss the root of the Mao Zedong era!
