Recently, a new discovery has been made in the national coin factory, the Zhaolun Zhongguan coins minting site in Chang'an City, Han. Archaeologists discovered a large number of copper coins, minting pottery models, smelting, water wells and other relics from the Western Han Dynasty to the Xinmang period. Among them, the unearthed copper coins include "Wuzhu", " Daquan 50 ", " One Daquan 50 ", etc., and the types of Qian Fan include "Wuzhu", "Daquan 50 ", " Xiaoquan 1 ", "Five Hundred 50 ", "One Daquan 50 ", etc. The unearthed relics include plate tile , tube tile , tile tile , crucible, blower duct, etc. From the perspective of shape, they are all relics from the Western Han Dynasty and the Xinmang period.

Zhaolun Zhongguan coins casting site is located in Zhaolun Village, Dawang Street Office, Fengxi New City, Xixian New District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. It belongs to Shanglinyuan during the Western Han Dynasty. Since December 2015, the Han Chang'an City Working Team of the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Xi'an Cultural Relics Protection and Archaeology Institute have jointly formed an archaeological team to conduct archaeological exploration and excavation of this site.

According to Zhang Jianfeng, a researcher at the Institute of Archaeology, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the site is divided into two parts: south and north. The north is a large moat with an area of about 100,000 square meters and a city site in the south. Starting from March 2021, archaeologists have carried out a new round of excavation work in the northern part of the moat about 1,100 meters northeast of , and have excavated and cleared more than 2,100 ash pits, 3 house sites, 11 kiln sites, 18 wells, one brick pool, and 3 smelting relics from the Western Han Dynasty and Xinmang periods. Zhang Jianfeng said that the Zhaolun Zhongguan coins minting site is the most important national coin minting site in my country in the Western Han Dynasty and Xinmang periods. The archaeological discoveries have a large number of relics and various shapes, which are of great significance to studying the currency minting technology, currency and economic policy changes at that time.
