In the deep mountainous area in the west of Xindu District, Xingtai City, there is a small mountain village that is famous all over the country. This is Qiannanyu Village . The reason why Qiannanyu is famous is that in November 1940, the Chinese People's Anti-Japanese Military and Political University (referred to as Kangda) was moved from Yan'an to Xingtai , and the main school is in Qiannanyu Village.
Zhu De, Deng Xiaoping, Liu Bocheng and other older generation of proletarian revolutionaries and anti-college students lived, studied and fought here for more than two years, leaving behind a fine tradition of "self-reliance and hard work".

In the past, poverty was high in mountains and rocks. Since reformed and opened up , it has taken the road of revitalizing mountains with science and technology and enriching the people with ecology. It has built a fruit production base with 326,400 dried and fresh fruit trees and a forest coverage rate of 94.6%. %, known as "the greenest place in the Taihang Mountains", and was awarded more than 70 honors at or above the provincial and ministerial level, such as the national advanced grass-roots party organization, the national civilized village and town, and the national democratic and legal model village. In 2020, the total social income of the village is 2.196 billion yuan, the collective net income is 26.8 million yuan, and the per capita net income is 18,600 yuan.
