A game that sells over 20 million copies is indeed a very amazing achievement, although compared with other masterpieces, such as " Minecraft " (238 million), "GTA 5" (170 million) or " PUBG (75 million) and so on are really nothing, but it took a long time for these masterpieces to reach such a huge sales volume. For example, it took 6 years to sell 20 million copies, while "The Witcher 3" took 4 years to reach 20 million sales, but "Cyberpunk 2077" achieved this feat in less than two years. And more than half of sales are completed in a few weeks.
Although the previous Cyberpunk 2077 was almost forgotten by players, CD Project did not give up on it, but instead postponed the plans for new content and expansion, focusing more on repairs and performance improvements. Until its debut on Netflix earlier this month, the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners made its comeback and has dominated Steam's hottest games list once it was launched.
