Many times, European and American audiences complain that the schedules of the LCS and LEC divisions are too easy and only play BO1. Because the number of teams is small, the competition is not fierce enough. Of course, not all teams are content with the status quo. In recent seasons, European and American teams often go to South Korea for training. During the MSI mid-season, the C9 team from the LCS division and the XL team from the LEC division went to South Korea for training.

The training camp in South Korea during the offseason seems to have yielded results. XL mid laner Nukeduck accepted an interview with Inven Global due to his outstanding performance in the first week. During the process, he mentioned the experience of training in South Korea many times:

"We are very lucky because Nelson (who once coached LMS) (region), and Mikyx (former G2 support) also knew some people, which helped a lot when we performed well. We played scrims with basically all the strong teams such as T1, RNG, TES, EDG, etc. We feel very lucky about this."

During the interview, Nukeduck also revealed a little-known fact. That is: when a strong team makes an appointment with a relatively weak team for a training match, they will conduct three tests. Only if their performance is recognized will they continue to make appointments. This point is actually very easy to understand. After all, if the strength of the two sides is too different, the training effect will not be achieved.

Since Nukeduck mentioned in the interview that some players’ signature heroes would be difficult to play, Inven Global took Faker’s Fox as an example. While Nukeduck nodded in agreement, he also said that Faker also played very well with his cards. And added: "There are some Chinese players who play very well. I think Angel is very strong. For me, he is the most difficult player to deal with."

Angel's career highlights are basically in the S10 World Championship. When he played it, he didn't fall behind even against Showmaker. However, due to his playing style and performance within the competition, Angel rarely becomes the focus of discussion. As for Nukeduck's interview, this is the first time since the S10 World Championship that a player from outside the region praised Angel.
