Previously, Feng Chao, deputy secretary-general of the China IoT Big Data Branch, proposed that supply chain and logistics services have begun to enter the stage of integrated supply chain logistics services driven by digital and intelligent technology. At present, the digital and intelligent supply chain is accelerating the in-depth entry into transportation and logistics, digital and intelligent sources, digital and intelligent retail, automotive services, digital and intelligent finance, industrial interconnection, rural revitalization, zero-carbon parks, cities and other industrial scenarios.
Gao Liqiang said in the interview that the digital supply chain has accelerated the rapid growth of JD Cloud. In the past year, JD Cloud has grown rapidly with a speed of over 110%, serving more than 95% of large central enterprises, nearly 100 cities, 2,048 large enterprises, 914 financial institutions and more than 2.07 million small and medium-sized enterprises.
The own advantages and characteristics of the digital supply chain have also brought new growth points to more industries.
First, the supply and demand ends have stronger synergy capabilities, which helps to build an efficient industrial cluster. In Changzhou, Jiangsu, the "super virtual factory" created by JD Cloud and its partners has achieved more than 60,000 equipment access in more than 700 factories in the region, and digital and intelligent coordinated digestion of more than 1.5 billion remaining production capacity ; in Lancang Lahu Autonomous County, relying on the local cold chain logistics , the industrial platform revitalizes the stock of characteristic industries, drives the upward trend of agricultural products, and increases the total volume by 81%. In terms of urban characteristic industries, JD Cloud serves nearly 100 cities across the country, operates more than 70 industrial parks, gathers more than 6,000 enterprises, and links over 200,000 upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain.
Second, it has the ability to collaborate complex industries, which helps to build an industrial system. Gao Liqiang gave an example to create a multimodal transport platform through Lanzhou New District to achieve the improvement of the efficiency of multimodal transport such as water transportation, rail transportation, and road transportation, and revitalize local regional characteristic industries. The logistics scale is expected to exceed 100 billion in three years; at the same time, a supply chain digital platform will be built for China National Offshore Oil Corporation , and over 20,000 upstream and downstream suppliers will be managed to reduce procurement costs and serve the production of National Offshore Oil Corporation; a unified digital platform for aviation equipment supply chain is created for AVIC supply chain, which has realized information sharing, data interaction, and business collaboration of supply chain ecological partners, greatly improving the efficiency of the aviation supply chain.
Third, it can reduce costs and increase efficiency for enterprises in digitalization. Currently, JD.com is undergoing digital innovation with Yili Group , using omni-channel one-piece goods, reducing the inventory cost of Yili by 8%; using the global user growth solution, helping Heliang purchase conversion rate increase by 14.3%.
Deeply pursuing technology to make industrial collaboration more "silky"
Gao Liqiang said that integration with the supply chain is the only way for AI to move towards the industry, and it is also the key to achieving "silky" of large-scale industrial collaboration. In , JD.com , more than 85% of purchases are automatically completed by the machine. JD Intelligent Supply Chain, using AI technologies such as operational optimization and deep learning, has achieved accurate prediction, intelligent decision-making and efficient collaboration of tens of millions of self-operated SKUs in complex supply and demand scenarios, helping JD inventory turnover to nearly 30 days. In the logistics scenario, Asia No. 1’s intelligent robot warehouse dispatching system enables pickers to cooperate with the “Dilang” robot, effectively improving the picking efficiency by more than 3 times.
Revolving around the complex collaboration of the industrial chain, JD Cloud has also launched a hybrid multi-cloud operating system JD Cloud Cloud Ship, which is fully compatible with various infrastructures around the world, supports applications across clouds, multiple activities, hybrid multi-cloud and multi-core, and realizes a global cloud perspective. Based on the concept of OpenCloud's global cloud, JD Cloud has achieved compatible interactions with mainstream cloud manufacturers and operating systems in the domestic and foreign industry.
