Our province's digital industry will continue to improve both quantity and quality this year. Taking the software industry as an example, as of the end of August, the province's software business revenue was 152.374 billion yuan, an increase of 11.0% over the same period in 2021. The province's software business revenue accounts for about 52% of the sum of the six central provinces, ranking first in the central region, rising from 12th in the country to 10th.
In 2022, 12 projects were selected as the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's new information consumption demonstration project, the number was the second in the country for three consecutive years; 13 projects were selected as the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's big data industry development pilot demonstration project, the number was the third in the country and the first in the central region.

Major projects are like mushrooms after a rain. The construction of Optics Valley Digital Economy Industrial Base and Dameng China Database Industrial Base have started. Wuhan Artificial Intelligence Computing Center completed the first phase construction and the second phase expansion, and the computing power was increased to 200P; Wuhan Supercomputing Center html started construction in April, with the first phase computing power scale of 50P and put into operation within the year. The province has built 37 key industrial Internet platforms, and Hubei Gechuang Dongzhi has been rated as a national "double-cross" industrial Internet platform, achieving a zero breakthrough. As of the end of September, the number of registered top node identifications in the national industrial Internet in Wuhan reached 7.928 billion, an increase of more than 2 billion over the same period last year. As of the end of August, 70,800 5G macro base stations have been built in the province, ranking eighth in the country, with a cumulative investment of more than 20 billion yuan. All cities and prefectures have basically achieved high-quality outdoor coverage in central urban areas, continuous coverage of key areas in new urban areas, and full coverage of townships and above areas.
Big Data Center accelerates layout. There are 112 data centers in use, 35 data centers under construction, 16 edge data centers, and 113,000 racks in use, ranking first in the middle.
Blockchain infrastructure breakthrough development.Following the country's first "Spark • Chain Network" super node was launched in Han in November last year, , the first "Spark • Chain Network" backbone node ( Hanyang ) in central China was launched in January this year, and the construction of backbone nodes such as Shiyan City and Three Gorges Group has accelerated.
