After two years of continuous advancement, the Huadian City Sanrun Graphene Lubricant Project, the first graphene lubricant project in the province, has completed the construction of the main factory building and entered the equipment debugging stage.
The project started construction in 2020 in the New Energy Industrial Park of Huadian Economic Development Zone, with a total investment of 270 million yuan and an area of 30,000 square meters. After the project reaches full capacity, it will be able to produce 30,000 tons of graphene lubricant annually, achieve an output value of 200 million yuan, generate taxes of 40 million yuan, and provide employment to more than 200 people.
Graphene is known as "black gold" and is the king of new materials in the 21st century. It is currently the thinnest and hardest new nanomaterial in the world. The thickness is only 0.335 nanometers. The thickness of 3 million layers of graphene film is only 1 mm, has excellent optical, electrical and mechanical properties, and can be widely used in materials science , micro-nano processing, energy and other aspects.
Sanrun graphene lubricant project is a major harvest of the Huadian Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government’s insistence on calling for “Huadian merchants to go home”. The person in charge of Sanrun Technology Company, the project contractor, is an authentic Huadian person who has worked hard in Chongqing for many years. The company has achieved rapid development and won the vast southern market by developing the core technology of graphene lubricants. In 2019, in order to expand the northern market, the person in charge of Sanrun Technology Company decided to invest in the construction of a northern production base in Huadian. For Huadian businessmen who have returned to their hometowns to start businesses, Huadian City has provided policy support in all aspects and opened up a "green channel" for project construction to ensure the rapid advancement of project construction.
