I am a comic fan. I like to read some comics in my spare time. The beautiful pictures and interesting text often make me laugh. But some comics not only make me laugh, but also make me think deeply.
Today, I read "Fathers and Sons" by German cartoonist E-O Braun. Each of the vivid and humorous stories in the comic comes from the cartoonist's real feelings in life, and is also a true portrayal of Braun and his son.
has a fragment of "Fare Evasion", which touched me deeply. In the picture, a father and his son went to the train station to buy tickets. In order to save money, they actually let the son hide in the suitcase, but the son’s legs and feet were exposed. When they were discovered when passing through the security check, the conductor disappeared. Let them both pass. In desperation, they made up a ticket. I think this kind of fare evasion is a disgraceful thing.
There are many phenomena like this in our lives, such as: stealing items in supermarkets without paying; going to amusement parks to sneak in without paying, etc. These people are selfish, indolent people who always want to live a life of getting something for nothing. This behavior is wrong and immoral.
Once a person's honesty is lost, it will be terrible and others will lose their trust in you. Therefore, no matter what we do, we must be honest and sincere, which will benefit us throughout our lives. Each of us should support ourselves and not always think about pie-in-the-sky things. We have to rely on our own hands to create value.
