In 1987, I was born in a teacher's family in Changsha City. I am the only child. Like ordinary families, my parents attach great importance to my education and hope that I can become a pillar of the country in the future. However, when I was a child, I was not the kind of child who liked to study. According to current science, I suffered from "ADHD". I was always jumping up and down and could not settle down. This also gave my parents a headache.
When I reached the age of studying, my parents sent me to the school where they taught. The school where my parents worked had a class for children of teachers and staff, who could go from kindergarten to high school. But when I arrived in kindergarten, unlike other children, I couldn't always concentrate on listening to the teacher's lectures, and always played with my classmates during class.
For this reason, my parents went to school every once in a while to listen to the teacher's education. But as teachers, my parents knew that the teacher was for my own good. Without any other choice, they only went to kindergarten for one semester and then returned home to live with my grandparents. My grandfather was a person with a bad temper. As long as he did something wrong, he would be punished. It can be said that I started to develop from the age of 3 until I graduated from junior high school.
It was in high school that I really became stable. At that time, I felt like a little adult. I learned to respect the old and love the young. I would also help my mother with housework on weekends, and I also learned to cook. For a boy, this is a very sense of accomplishment.
My academic performance was average before. Since my attitude towards learning changed, I have transformed from a "scumbag" to a "student master".
My parents are physics and chemistry teachers who teach the third grade of high school. In order not to be assigned to the class taught by my parents, I finally chose liberal arts.
My parents were not satisfied with this choice, because my scores in science subjects were much better than those in liberal arts subjects, and they knew that I did this on purpose. However, my parents respected my choice in the end. At that time, my favorite thing to learn was English, and I basically got full marks in every test. However, liberal arts was very laborious, and many knowledge points required memorization by rote, and I gradually lost interest.
Three years of intense study were over in the blink of an eye. Before the college entrance examination, I was very relaxed. After discussing with my parents, I decided to go to my uncle's house in Tianjin for a week. My parents readily agreed. Sometimes I feel that they are the kindest and most understanding parents in the world. No matter what decision I make, they will support me without hesitation.
After returning from Tianjin, I walked into the examination room. When I looked at the test questions, I felt that it was difficult, but it was not particularly difficult. I passed the college entrance examination easily and was just waiting for the results to come out.
Twenty days have become a long time. The moment the results came out, my parents were the first to know about my college entrance examination results. Although there was no hope of getting into a prestigious school, there was still hope for 211 University. The remaining time was to choose the major and school to study, and I finally chose Xi'an.
Xi'an is the ancient capital of thirteen dynasties and has a long history. After the high school entrance examination, my parents took me to Xi'an for a trip. I felt that the environment there was quite good, so I decided to study in Xi'an for university.
Compared with three years of high school, college is wonderful, not so busy, and not so nervous. At that time, besides completing my studies, falling in love, and traveling, I dated two girlfriends while I was in college. However, we ended up breaking up because of different ambitions.
My parents hoped that I could become a teacher in the future, so that I could be stable for the rest of my life. However, although I took the teaching qualification certificate when I was in college, I did not want to return to Changsha. Instead, I stayed in Xi'an and found a job teaching English at a language school. At that time, the school was on the verge of bankruptcy, but my weird ideas unexpectedly saved the school. Of course, the reward my boss gave me was shares, and I naturally became the boss.

Because I usually deal with students more, I often go to some universities to share my stories and give some motivational speeches. I learned that her name was Fihani, and she also knew that my name was Guo Changhui. During the meal, we chatted a lot and found that Fihani’s Chinese was very standard. She introduced herself and said that she started to learn Chinese by herself when she was in Iran, and she could already speak fluent Mandarin before arriving in China.
That night, we confirmed our relationship, but she was in her third year of college at the time and would graduate in a year and a half. We agreed to get married when she graduates from college.
In 2016, when Fihani graduated from university, we thought about getting married and went to Iran to meet Fihani's parents. Fihani's parents were quite satisfied with me, but they were worried about whether Fihani would be happy in China. I patted my chest and promised that she would live a happy life.
Just like that, we returned to Changsha to get our marriage certificate, and then went to Xi'an to work.
