Three Awakenings in Life

Mr. Yang Jiang once accepted an interview.
Someone asked, "What should we do to become better and realize self-worth?"
Mr. Yang Jiang replied: "Life is nothing more than knowing yourself, refining yourself, and voluntarily transforming yourself."

  • Know yourself

There is a saying in "Banshan Collected Works":

"It is better to read a book ten times than to read a hundred books; it is better to read yourself inside and out than to read a book ten times."

Reading people is really not as good as reading yourself.

In this world, everyone has their own things they are good at and things they are not good at.

Only when you know yourself well enough can you not be fettered by external things, choose the most suitable path, and go on without distraction.

The greatest awakening a person can have is to understand his own abilities and values.

When you can find the right position and direction, your life will naturally be able to move up the stairs and go higher and higher.

  • Refine yourself

The maturity of a grain of wheat cannot be separated from the tempering of wind, frost, rain and snow; a wonderful life needs to be tempered in hardships.

As she said:

"After different levels of exercise, a person will obtain different levels of cultivation and different levels of benefits.

It is like spices. The more you pound them, the finer they are ground, the stronger the fragrance."

The more difficult the situation, the more time it takes to practice.

  • Transform yourself

There are too many things in life, which are like mountains standing in front of you.

Don't always focus on the outside world. When you can't change reality, the best way is to change yourself.

When you encounter difficulties, you might as well change your thinking;

When faced with difficulties, you might as well change your mentality.

When we ourselves change, you will find that when others change, the whole world also changes.

02

In life, the more sober people are, the simpler they are.

Confucius once lamented: "The dead are like a man, and they don't give up day and night."

Time is like running water, and every age group has its own maturity.

We should make timely plans and take action at the right age.

  • There is a kind of sobriety in the world, called " is not worth the law "

Carnegie said: "The only way to win in an argument is to avoid arguments."

Smart people do not argue, are not competitive, and choose to remain silent when it comes to concepts they do not agree with.

Because summer insects cannot talk about the ice, and well frogs cannot talk about the sea.

Once people's cognition is not at the same level, no matter how much debate they have, it will be a waste of time.

We just have to be ourselves, follow our own path, stick to the direction of progress, and live our own lives

well.

  • Don't force others to light their lamps

A truly transparent person already knows how to take care of himself and not cross others.

Your standard answer may not be someone else’s optimal solution.

In reality, many people are used to dictating other people's lives.

In this world, everyone has their own attitude towards life and way of doing things.

You may not understand other people's happiness;

You may not be fully aware of other people's difficulties.

Our experience and knowledge are often not enough to judge other people's lives.

But if everything is overdone, it will become sour.

Just shine your own light, don’t force it to light the light for others.

  • The real strong man: he may walk slowly, but he never retreats

The thing in the world is like this, no matter how high the mountain is, there are birds flying over; no matter how dense the net is, there are fish getting through.

Mo Yan once told the story of his grandfather in an open letter:
When he was a child, he followed his grandfather to cut grass in a meadow.

Unfortunately, on the way back, he encountered the roaring whirlwind .

As a young man, he was shocked and asked what it was.

Grandpa replied calmly: "Wind, pull the car as hard as you can, kid."

The wind was getting stronger and stronger. In order to keep the car, Grandpa clenched the handlebars tightly, his legs trembled, and he stood hunched over in the strong wind.

Even if his clothes were torn by the wind, he remained motionless, holding the car steady like a sculpture.

Later, the wind finally stopped, and grandpa slowly straightened up. His fingers could no longer be stretched out because they had been curled up for too long.

But even in such a mess, he still became Mo Yan's hero, because when the wind came, grandpa did not flinch.

"Life is like climbing a mountain. It seems that you have to take many rugged roads, but you will eventually reach the top of the mountain."
