In order to tell good stories about China, tell good stories about hometown, and inherit patriotic spirit, Dongfeng Road Campus of Dongfeng Education Group has launched a series of activities on the theme of "Welcome the Twenty Top 20, Tell the Heroes of Anti-Japanese War Memorial City" since October National Day. In the early stage of the
event, the school’s political and educational director led the students to visit the Hengyang Defense War Memorial Hall located in Lujia New House , allowing children to understand the heroic stories of the martyrs on this land 78 years ago, and to understand the spiritual totem of the good Chinese children's sacrifices one after another. Although the broken walls have long gone, their vivid faces remain in the heart of the Dongfeng boy because of the heroic stories. Afterwards, the school used the Red Scarf Radio and during breaks to preach heroic stories and exchange stories and insights with students. Through class activities, the head teachers of each class attracted students to take the initiative to tell stories, promote the spirit of national independence, and let children experience the difficulty of new China and the hard-won life of a happy life.
