We often hear things like this: Some children become tired of studying due to low test scores or being isolated from others, and even become introverted because of this.

When everyone felt sorry for this child, the child suddenly started to work hard one day and vowed to "do his best". Since then, he has been among the best in both studies and sports, and finally ranked among the winners. The examples are endless.
From these examples, we can conclude that a child's future is determined by "whether the heart is strong or not"!
This statement is not an exaggeration, because the successful experiences of many celebrities and my own growth experience have perfectly proved this point.
Take me as an example. I have also had the experience of transforming the frustration of being isolated into the motivation to keep making progress. And under such circumstances, even if I occasionally achieve excellent results, I will not be arrogant or impetuous, and continue to work hard with the strong belief that "I will never lose to them in learning" and "I must live up to my expectations."

However, what I want to emphasize here is that the reason why I can turn my frustration into motivation to move forward is not because my heart is strong enough.
In fact, my successful transformation is inseparable from my mother’s silent support. My mother always reminds me when I feel discouraged: "Are you willing to keep going like this?", "Only those who excel in studies can stand in society" and "must strive for success." These motivational words from my mother have undoubtedly become my spiritual support.

Today's children often have insufficient learning ability, low physical fitness, and rarely have the "motivation not to be left behind." In the long run, they are destined to be unable to succeed in any field.
At present, social competition is becoming increasingly fierce, and a long-term lack of "motivation not to be left behind" means that you will become a loser. If you want your children to have a bright future, this issue must not be ignored.
In short, only those who have a strong belief that "one day I will turn defeat into victory" and are able to turn their frustration into motivation have the basic conditions to stand in the future society.
The so-called "inner strength" means having the ability to believe in oneself. Children can become strong only if they believe "I can learn as long as I learn" and "I can defeat my opponent as long as I work hard." On the other hand, if a child thinks, “I can’t do it anyway,” it will be difficult to ignite the motivation to learn.
Children are simple by nature. As long as parents repeatedly tell their children "You can definitely do it" and still love them no matter what happens, children can believe in themselves.

Sometimes, a small successful experience can also help children gain confidence. In my case, my abacus speed is twice that of ordinary people, so I always think that I am smart, and this has become a source of confidence for me. Therefore, it is crucial for mothers to be good at discovering the strengths of their children and allowing him or her to experience the feeling of success in the areas in which they are good at.
In the article, I will introduce to you the methods and tips for cultivating a strong heart in children based on my own growth experience, parenting experience and practical experience as a psychiatrist; no matter which method, you can practice it immediately. I will be deeply honored if the article can become the "most powerful practical text" to promote parent-child relationship.
