And I feel that the person's understanding of "Qinfang" in this essay question is not in line with the original intention of the author of "A Dream of Red Mansions".

Therefore, the word "Qinfang" in "A Dream of Red Mansions" originally came from Jia Baoyu.
"Qinfang" means "Qinyuan Fangfei". "Qinyuan" was originally a garden in the Han Dynasty. Emperor Ming of the Han Dynasty gave it to Princess Qinshui, so it was called "Qinyuan". "Fangfei" refers to flowers and plants in full bloom. "Qinfangfangfei" comes from Han Yu's poem "From now on, the grass in Qinyuan will never be more fragrant." The original meaning of this sentence is: From now on, no flowers and grass will bloom in Qinyuan. On the surface, it seems that the author compares Grand View Garden to Qin Garden, which foreshadows the ending of the beauty of Grand View Garden being dispersed.

"A Dream of Red Mansions" clearly explains that "the truth is hidden, but the lies remain". But the problem is that the original intention of this plot in "Dream of Red Mansions" is not to embody the idea of "transfer, application and innovation" at all. When he named the previous scenic spot "A Winding Path Leads to a Quiet Place", Jia Baoyu had already expressed his opinion. He said: "It is better to describe the old than to compile the new. Carving the past is worse than carving the present." He also rejected all the titles given by others. Therefore, when naming this scenic spot, in order to make Jia Zheng and Jia Baoyu happy, the Qing guests quoted "The Drunkard's Pavilion" and named it "Yiran" and "Xieyu". In other words, the two names "Yiran" and "Xieyu" were exactly used by the Qing guests to cater to Jia Baoyu's idea of "telling the past". Later, Jia Baoyu thought that "Xieyu" was inappropriate and said: "...Although this is a villa where provincial relatives reside, it should be included in the rules of Yingzhi. The use of such words is also crude and inelegant." The reason why Jia Baoyu opposed "Xieyu" was that "crude and inelegant" did not "include the rules of Yingzhi", which meant that it was not in line with the royal tradition and violated the "ancient system". It was not because the name was not innovative. This further illustrates Jia Baoyu's idea of "learning from the past and recounting the past". Later, Jia Baoyu named it "Qinfang", and Jia Zheng expressed satisfaction. This was because the name both "narrated the past" and "should be adapted". It did not praise Jia Baoyu's "innovation" spirit and had nothing to do with "innovation".
The college entrance examination essay put this plot of "A Dream of Red Mansions" together with "application, transformation, and innovation". The author of the essay also failed to grasp the hidden meaning of this plot and completely misunderstood the author's original creative intention.
