Hello everyone, I am Xiaoshui, a writing enthusiast who focuses on growth and is keen on sharing education and self-growth information. Welcome to follow me!
Five years ago, after graduating from school, I successfully entered a high school to teach until now.
I still like the job of teaching. I can impart knowledge to children every day and I can also communicate with them at the same time.
Especially when they talk to me about their troubles, I cherish this trust very much and I am also happy that my words of comfort have an effect on the children.
While teaching, I am very good at observing and summarizing. Over the past few years, I have gained a lot of experience. Today I want to talk to you about what kind of children can almost 100% win the college entrance examination and achieve ideal results.

Part 1
The college entrance examination in 2019 is the year I remember most clearly. It was the first time I experienced the college entrance examination for students. It was also the year when a child in the school whose entrance scores were so poor that he was almost at the bottom achieved a breakthrough in the college entrance examination.
Our school is a second-category high school. The number of students who can appear in the college entrance examination every year is around dozens, and the number of students who can appear in the college entrance examination is only a handful. If it can break through double digits, it is very good.
As a member of the first-class students, everyone is particularly impressed by this child, because the scores of other children who passed the first-class college entrance examination were similar to their usual scores, but this child exceeded our expectations and became a dark horse in the college entrance examination battlefield.
was in high school for three years. I taught him for two years in his first and second years of high school. When he was in his third year of high school, he was transferred to another class, but he still asked me questions from time to time, so he always kept in touch.
Looking back now, one of his biggest qualities is that he has a strong initiative in learning. This alone defeated almost 90% of the students, and it was also the secret to his making such great progress.
When he was a freshman in high school, he was an extremely ordinary member of the more than 80 children in the class. Because he was so inconspicuous, I had almost no impression of him.
When he was a sophomore in high school, he started asking me questions frequently, and I finally learned his name. When the teachers were communicating together, they discovered that he was also constantly asking other teachers questions.
Although the questions he asked were all basic and simple questions, we all liked him because he had a good attitude, was very humble, and always smiled.
Then his grades began to improve slowly, and he was squeezed from the bottom of the class into the ranks of second-year target students. By his senior year in high school, he was assigned to the only elite class in the school.
In his third year of high school, his grades are still improving steadily, so getting a good score in the college entrance examination is not luck, but the result of his effective efforts bit by bit.

Part 2
Speaking of this, some parents may be confused: My children also like to ask questions and seem to work very hard. Why can’t their grades improve?
Let’s talk about what aspects of this “learning initiative” are mainly reflected. Without a deep understanding, it is easy to fall into “fake efforts” that only make superficial efforts.
"Learning initiative" is mainly reflected in: students need to have a correct attitude towards learning, that is, learning is their own business.
No matter what school age children are, as long as they can do this, they will be able to achieve good results.
Once, our school invited a Hengshui Middle School teacher to share his teaching experience with us. One of his words was particularly inspiring to me: Those children who were admitted to Tsinghua University and Peking University were not taught by their teachers, but relied on their own consciousness.
The biggest highlight of the poor student mentioned above is that he is very conscious in his studies. To what extent are you conscious?
likes to ask questions, which is something most students can do, but other students only need to understand after asking questions.
What makes him different from others is that every time he asks a question, he must record the methods and ideas explained by the teacher in a special notebook according to his own understanding. You should also summarize why you didn’t do it at the time and how you should improve it in the future for this reason.
This is considered troublesome and unnecessary by many people, so most children will be reluctant to do this.
In fact, this is completely wrong. What really widens the gap in everyone's performance is often the step of self-summary.
Once you understand and understand, the knowledge does not necessarily become your own. Only through self-summarization and self-digestion can you truly transform the knowledge into your own.
This habit is also maintained by most top academics and top scorers in the college entrance examination. This is also the best interpretation of a person's "learning initiative" in action.

Part 3
Finally, I would like to talk about what I learned from that student (this is another reason why I like teaching: it is easy to be infected by the excellent qualities of children).
In fact, the initiative mentioned above is very similar to the Internet hot word we are familiar with: review.
Whether you are a student or a professional, if you want to make rapid progress, the best way is to review it. One day, a week, a month, a year... you must carefully summarize your gains and areas for improvement.
The reason why some people grow fast is because we don’t know how hard they work when we can’t see it. So there is no shortcut to success, and some are just hard work day after day.
Finally, I wish everyone can get what they want through their own efforts.
