On November 8, seventh-grade teachers and students from Northeast Normal University Shenzhen Pingshan Experimental School (hereinafter referred to as "Dongshi Pingshi") gathered in the lecture hall to hold a campus speech competition "Inheriting etiquette and immersing civilized campus".
Principal Gao Junming, Vice Principal Bai Qingkun, Vice Principal Tuo Zhongfei, Deputy Director of the Party and Government Office Hao Jiayi, Deputy Director of the Teaching Department Wang Pengfei, Deputy Director of the Teacher Development Center Fu Jinhui, Deputy Director and Grade Director of the Teacher Development Center Yang Jing, Seventh-grade Director Wang Jing, Leader of the Chinese Language Department Wang Xuying, Deputy Director of the Safety Office Li Haidan, Deputy Director of the Moral Education Department Peng Cheng, and Teacher Chen Shuo of the Moral Education Department serve as judges.
The class preliminary and grade semi-finals lasted 9 days, and 18 contestants stood out. At the finals, the contestants were energetic, confident and calm, and excited tone, either sharing personal experiences, introducing the deeds of celebrities, or telling historical stories. There is an explanation of the history of ancient civilizations and etiquette countries, an advocacy for learning and practicing the core socialist values of and building a civilized and harmonious campus, and its superb language expression ability and speech charm have won applause from the audience and judges, fully demonstrating the civilized demeanor, etiquette attitude and elegant style of the students of Dongshiping.
7th graders Zhang Zixuan, Yin Mengqian, Yang Yuting and Xie Miaoyue turned civilized etiquette into a song and sang it into the hearts of the audience. After the competition ended, Teacher Chen Shuo announced the list of winners of the competition.
Gao Junming, Tuozhongfei and Fu Jinhui awarded certificates to the first, second and third prize winners respectively. The contestants had bright smiles on their faces, and they all said that no matter what the result was, they had already gained growth in the process of preparing for the competition.
