On the afternoon of November 14, honorary president of the Xi'an Branch of the Malaysian Chamber of Commerce of China, Zhai Hua , and Secretary-General Raymond Raman and two others came to our school to visit and exchange. Guo Wei introduced to the guests the development history of Xi'an Translation College and the achievements made in talent training, teaching and research, and international exchanges and cooperation since its establishment. He pointed out that Xi'an Translation College is a comprehensive undergraduate university with a focus on literature and foreign languages. The school adheres to the concept of open school management, pays great attention to foreign exchanges and cooperation, and has been committed to opening up more opportunities and platforms for students to study abroad, practice internships and employment, and has now established friendly and cooperative relations with more than 80 universities and institutions in more than ten countries. Malaysia is an important node country along the "Belt and Road". After close communication between the two parties, the MUET English Proficiency Test Site and the cooperation intention to carry out inter-school cooperation and exchanges were initially reached.
It is reported that the full English name of MUET is Malaysian University English Test, which is an English language proficiency test organized by the Malaysian Examination Committee. MUET test scores can be used as admission qualifications for English proficiency in public schools and private colleges in Malaysia, and are also accepted and recognized by some schools in Singapore and the UK.
