Judging from the rankings this time, domestic universities performed amazing overall, and universities on the list improved to varying degrees. Surprisingly, two giants, , Peking University, , and , Tsinghua, , are only ranked 5th and 6th in China, and 6th and 8th in the world.
Natural Index uses the world's top journals, such as Nature, Science, Cell, etc., to the most influential research academic journal paper data in the world. Three measurement methods are used to count the total scores of papers published by various universities and research institutes (countries) and rank them. This ranking has high authority worldwide, and is an important indicator to measure the high-quality research output and cooperation of institutions, countries and regions in the field of natural sciences.
In the latest natural index rankings, the top ten universities in mainland universities are: 1. University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (2); 2. Nanjing University (4); 3. University of Science and Technology of China (5); 4. Peking University (6); 5. Tsinghua University (8); 6. Zhejiang University (9); 7. Shanghai Jiaotong University (13); 8. In this ranking, 19 universities in the mainland entered the top 50 in the world.
