Songjiang University Town gathers 7 universities, rich in innovation resources, talent resources and cultural resources. It is a special business card of Songjiang and is also the backbone and important tool for the construction of Songjiang New City . In order to serve the teachers and students of colleges and universities, integrate the resources of colleges and universities, promote the integration of local schools, and gather the synergy of development, Guangfulin Street established the "Seven Color Bridge" Party Building Alliance in 2017.
In the past five years, the local and school parties have promoted the orderly flow between various factors through effective integration of party building positions, service resources, and talent teams, making the "Seven Colors Bridge" truly a bridge of connection, cooperation, and development. The street has joined hands with 7 universities and more than 100 co-construction units to successively build economic communities where makers gather, Dedao Group, Wenhui Road, Qiseqiao Plaza, Beiye Bookstore, Qingke Chuangchuang, Donghua Malaysia Academy and other party and mass service positions, serving 110,000 teachers and students in the university town.
From the indoor "class" ideological and political, public welfare legal publicity, anti-fraud propaganda, etc., to outdoor "outside class" ideological and political community governance practices, colleges and universities actively participate in regional party building cooperation in community governance. The "Seven Color Bridge" Party Building Alliance has realized the new supply of red resources between local and local schools, and has built a three-dimensional and diverse ideological and political learning system.
Last year, the street and 7 universities built an entity cooperation platform for "local and school united front community" and carried out six cooperation projects, including pairing and teaching in communities of ethnic minority students, and universities helping local basic education. At the same time, the establishment of the Party Building Alliance has benefited residents in the jurisdiction. During the epidemic, experts from universities such as Donghua University, , , Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology, and other universities through psychological counseling "cloud classroom" to help residents correctly understand their mood responses and respond rationally to the epidemic-related information, effectively alleviating residents' psychological pressure.
Guangfulin Street Community Party and Mass Service Center and Songjiang University Town Colleges and universities have established a "Seven Color Bridge" local school party building alliance to unite their hearts, gather wisdom and focus, so that local school resources can improve integration, enhance coordination and expand service areas, so that party members and the masses can receive "one-stop, one-stop, one-network" party and mass services at their doorsteps and at the school gates, and have received widespread praise from residents and college teachers and students.
It is worth mentioning that while promoting the integration of party and mass services, the "Seven Color Bridge" Party Building Alliance has deepened the new mechanism of party building work with the theme of "double service and double innovation", and has built the University Town Double Innovation Cluster Zone into an important carrier area and source of innovation and entrepreneurship.
"Songjiang District University Town Double Innovation Cluster Party Committee" and "Songjiang University Town Double Innovation Professional Committee" were established successively. Focusing on college students' innovation and entrepreneurship, Songjiang University Town Innovation and Entrepreneurship Expo, Double Innovation Market Carnival, Double Innovation Competition, Story Collection and other activities are organized around college students' innovation and entrepreneurship. By carrying out nearly 100 innovation and entrepreneurship training, and implementing projects such as party building leadership "double-leading and double training" and "mentor-leading apprenticeship", a "entrepreneurship nursery + incubator + accelerator" system has been formed to improve the entrepreneurial skills of start-ups and provide college students with education and training, entrepreneurship support, transformation of scientific and technological achievements in industry-university-research cooperation, intellectual property protection and other services. Last year, Guangfulin Street held more than 20 large and small entrepreneurship activities, with 781 enterprises incubated with 16 entrepreneurial carriers, 2,617 people employed, and 27 enterprises received 14 million yuan in various investment and financing.
City has nurtured universities, and universities nourish the city. Songjiang University Town and Songjiang New City are harmonious and are an important force in Guangfulin Street to strengthen grassroots party building. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Guangfulin Street and Songjiang University Town will continue to focus on common goals and common values, work together in the same direction and frequency, continue to work hard to stimulate new vitality for joint construction, and better serve the creation of the "three aces" of the Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, Songjiang New City, and Songjiang Hub, and effectively serve the regional economic and social development.
