September 1, 2022 marks the second anniversary of the promulgation and implementation of the "Shenzhen Municipal Regulations on Classification and Management of Domestic Waste" (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations"). Nanshan District Taking advantage of the second anniversary of the implementation of the "Regulations", a series of publicity activities "The First Lesson of Garbage Classification" was held in September.

This event is hosted by the Nanshan District Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau and the Nanshan District Education Bureau and hosted by the Taoyuan Street Office of Nanshan District. It uses schools within the jurisdiction of Nanshan District as units to carry out the first lesson of garbage classification and the "Regulations" knowledge competition Q&A activities in the form of "online + offline".
Since the start of school in September, Nanshan District has mobilized 223 kindergartens and 96 primary and secondary schools in its jurisdiction to participate in this event. Each school has made an in-depth and easy-to-understand explanation of the significance of garbage classification and how to classify garbage through diverse forms such as broadcasting promotional videos, explaining PPT, on-site simulation and interactive games.
At the same time, in order to further help everyone learn the knowledge of the regulations more deeply and strengthen their memory of the first lesson of garbage classification, activities are carried out simultaneously online in the form of H5. Online H5 includes three links: Interpretation of the Regulations, the Regulations' small classroom and the Regulations' knowledge competition. Up to now, the Regulations have a total of 34,342 participants in the Q&A interaction in the knowledge competition.
