From August 27 to September 6, 2022, the companionship and helping tour project held two pre-job training for social workers on campus online, namely the companionship and helping tour basic project area 2022 autumn pre-job training and the rural school social work project (Phase II) 2022 autumn semester pre-job training.

We will study courses such as social work course design, social work values, and career enlightenment to jointly promote social workers' on-campus service work in the new semester.

Companionship and help basic project area
From August 27th to 31st, pre-job training in the companionship and help basic project area will be held online. This pre-job training was full of twists and turns. After two changes in the training venue, the training was finally selected to be carried out online. However, with the joint efforts of social work partners, training teachers and project teams, the online pre-job training atmosphere is lively and the content is detailed, providing theoretical and practical support for social workers' subsequent service work in school.
Day1 The mission of social workers inspires
On the first day of online training, Yiwei Youth (EV) Xiaowen led everyone to introduce themselves in a painting, and the creative self-introduction of social workers made everyone familiar with each other.

After Xiaowen led everyone to read the picture book story called "The Story of the Stone" and learn picture books from a new perspective. The afternoon's "School Social Workers Story Drama" brought the atmosphere to a climax. The social workers were divided into two groups and compiled their own experiences into scripts. Each group of members collaborated to create them and interpreted the stories that happened together.

Day2-4 Social work supervision
"Why do we need to use disability, not disability?" This is the problem that project supervisor Pei Yi threw to social workers.
This is a simple and complex question, which contains the basic ethical value of social work.
During the two and a half days of training, social workers learned the seven basic principles of social workers by telling stories and giving examples in groups - acceptance, empathy, self-determination, confidentiality, individualization, non-criticality, and purposeful expression of emotional goals.
Supervise Peiyi to share the "Change Rights"
Peiyi also explained the important content of the "Change Rights" to social workers, emphasizing the children's right to survival, protection, development and participation. Social workers conducted group discussions and feedback on social work concepts and knowledge, and supervisor Peiyi gave guidance and comments one by one based on everyone's feedback.
Day5 Career enlightenment
Busy and good times always pass quickly. The online training has arrived on the fifth day, and Teacher Liu Zhimin brings career enlightenment training to social workers.
Career enlightenment training content includes the current career development status of adolescents, the core theory of diversified intelligence, the relationship between diversified intelligence and profession, the basic elements of the profession, and courses on how to help students understand their ideal career.
After the whole day of career enlightenment training, Teacher Liu Zhimin organized a personal career salon for social workers to answer questions and solve problems for social workers' own development.

Rural School Social Work Project (Phase II)
From September 3 to September 6, the 2022 autumn semester pre-job training will be launched online.The four-day training content consists of children's social work in school scenarios, social work theory, children's case services in school social work, children's group services in school social work, social work curriculum system, and administrative training for social work in resident schools.

Accompaniment and helping the project team colleagues and partners of the Gansu Association provided support for the training. Project supervisor Ma Yujie brought sufficient content to this training, and the social workers improved their abilities in this training.
Rainbow is always after the storm. The pre-job training for the fall semester of 2022 has experienced many twists and turns, but the final result is enough to make everyone smile. The new semester has arrived, and we accompany each other on this new journey.
