My father is a respected Chinese teacher. I grew up with my father in school since I was a child. Every day, I watched my father teach students enviously, communicate with students like father and son, talk about the past and the present, and talk about the world. Through my eyes and eyes, I have also planted a teacher dream in my heart since I was a child.

Later, I was admitted to a normal college in Haibin City and studied in the secretarial major as I wish. To this end, my father was still financially struggling, so he specially invited a movie screening team to perform a movie for the villagers in the village to watch, and arranged a banquet, and relatives and friends gathered together to celebrate happily.

A native rural child took the train for more than ten hours to a strange metropolis. I was like a frog in a well and got ashore. I felt everything was so novel and dazzling, and I felt that the rustic atmosphere in my land was so disharmonious. The only thing that can be comforted is that my college entrance examination scores are more than 100 points higher than those of their local students. But thankfully, I was not overwhelmed by it. Because I know that I have my parents’ expectations and hard-won learning opportunities, I whip myself up early every day to go for morning jogging and reading, and sleep in the school library at night and holidays, thirstyly absorbing knowledge such as famous masters and other famous works. After graduating from the junior college, I was assigned to teach at a middle school in Chengguan Town. When I took the job transfer order to report to the town government, the leaders of the town government said: "Look at your file, you graduated from the Chinese Department. It just so happened that the town government's social security crackdown office needed a document. You write an autobiography and let's see if you are suitable." A few days later, the town government notified me to go to the town to crack down on work, and this has been working for more than six years. During this period, I was mainly responsible for writing textual materials on the town government's crackdown, comprehensive management office, judicial office, and party affairs. Six years later, I was selected to work in a functional department of the county party committee, mainly responsible for writing and materials work, and this has been done for nearly twenty years.

Time flies, and time passes. In the past twenty-six years of working in the administrative department, I have gone from a childish and ignorant boy to a middle-aged uncle with frosted temples in a blink of an eye.

Now, slowly settled down, quietly watching the middle school Chinese teacher qualification certificate that I have collected for many years and has long been expired and has not been reviewed. I silently asked myself deep in my heart that if the years can be repeated, for more than 20 years, I don’t know if I can endure loneliness, keep my original aspiration, stand on the three-foot podium and carefully teach and answer questions to students, and I don’t know if I can become a qualified and competent people’s teacher? I wonder if I can be respectfully called by my students by my students like my father? Whenever I think about this, I always feel a hint of regret, self-blame and uneasiness in my heart.

A person is approaching middle age. When he looks back suddenly, he suddenly has some insight: most of the things in life are not satisfactory. No matter what profession a person is engaged in, no matter what position he is in, whether he is for society or family, it is enough to be a person with conscience!
