
In order to further improve the work of creating national food safety demonstration city , standardize the food safety management of university canteens, eliminate the hidden dangers of campus food safety , combine the epidemic prevention and control work, and promote the practical results of style construction learning and practice activities, Baotou Market Supervision Administration conducted food safety inspections on several student canteens in Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology on September 27.

In accordance with the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, currently students from Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology implement closed management, with nearly 20,000 students dining in the canteen, and campus food safety is particularly important. Ma Weimin, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Municipal Bureau, led the Catering Service Supervision Section and the law enforcement personnel of the Kun District Market Supervision Bureau to form an inspection team to inspect the implementation of the main responsibility for food safety in the school, the implementation of the food safety management system, the implementation and implementation of the food safety operation specifications of catering services, and the opposition to food waste management work, and the inspection of key links such as campus open kitchen and bright stove , health management of employees, purchase and storage of food raw materials, food additive management, food processing and production, cleaning and disinfection of catering utensils, and food sample retention. The inspection found that the overall food safety management of the school canteens was good, but there were some management and operational problems. The inspection team ordered the school to make rectifications immediately.

Through this food safety inspection, the purpose is to further establish the awareness of the first person responsible for food safety in colleges and universities, implement food safety management responsibilities, and improve food safety management capabilities. In the next step, the municipal and district regulatory departments will work together to urge universities to put students' food safety first, carefully organize and investigate food safety risks, and promptly rectify and eliminate hidden dangers to ensure the food safety of teachers and students.
