guideline proposes that 12 guiding majors for the cultivation of new agricultural talents will be set up in five major areas including food security, ecological civilization, smart agriculture, nutrition and health, and rural development. Among them,
is in the field of food security, and has set up majors in biobreeding science, biobreeding technology, land science and technology;
is in the field of ecological civilization, and has set up majors in biomass science and engineering, ecological restoration, national park construction and management;
is in the field of smart agriculture , and has set up majors in smart agriculture and agricultural intelligent equipment engineering;
is in the field of nutrition and health, and has set up majors in food nutrition and health, veterinary public health;
is in the field of rural development, and has set up majors in rural governance and global agricultural development governance.
It is understood that the release of the guide aims to promote the deep integration and organic connection between professional settings and industrial chains, innovation chains, and talent chains, and lead universities with conditions to set up new agricultural majors.
