In Zhu Pingyun's memories, on the eve of the 1990 college entrance examination, he had a high fever. Fortunately, his psychological quality was good. He finished the papers with a fever in the examination room, and finally got admitted to the Huazhong University of Science and Technology Quantitative Economics major. During college, he also actively served as the class monitor and obtained some minor achievements such as the Three Good Students, Outstanding Communist Youth League members, and Outstanding Graduates.

Until December 21, 2016, the Jiangxi Banking Regulatory Bureau approved Zhu Pingyun's qualifications as deputy president of the Nanchang Branch of Guangfa Bank.
