Mr. Lei Yongping unfortunately passed away at Beijing Century Forest Hospital on June 29 due to illness. The ashes are placed in Fuze Park, Yangling Agricultural Science City, Shaanxi Province on October 7. Mr. Lei is the head teacher and mathematics teacher when I was studying at Fengxiang Normal School in Shaanxi Province forty-two years ago. I was shocked to hear the bad news and felt very regretful; I issued a special tribute to commemorate it.

During the two years of Master Feng, Teacher Lei taught us academically and was a strict teacher; caring for us in life is like a kind father; and being an example for our character is like a brother. With his hard work, our Mathematics Class 2 has a positive atmosphere and a strong academic style, consolidated professional ideas and outstanding academic performance, laying a good ideological foundation and professional foundation for everyone to go deep into the grassroots, take root in their hometowns, and devote themselves to education in the future.
