In order to improve young teachers’ recognition of the school’s educational philosophy and educational culture, and further strengthen young teachers’ basic business skills, on July 15, our school held the opening ceremony of the 2022 summer teacher training. Principal Meng Zhizhong, vice principals Wu Guiwen, Wu Shu and all young teachers attended the opening ceremony.
1Opening Speech
Principal Meng Zhizhong made an important speech at the opening ceremony. He emphasized that it is of great significance for the school to organize young teachers to participate in various training activities such as teacher ethics, education and teaching, and business capabilities, which will provide opportunities for the growth of teachers and teaching development in our school. It has laid a good foundation and is conducive to promoting the rapid growth of young teachers. Thus, the young teachers started their summer training journey.
2This training session was hosted by Vice Principal Wu Guiwen. He first started from his own growth experience and shared the school's positioning, requirements, concepts, educational goals, difficulties that young teachers may encounter and how to deal with them, pointing out the way forward for young teachers and improving their understanding of school education. Wu Guiwen pointed out that young teachers should not forget their original intention of teaching and educating people, keep in mind their mission of cultivating moral character, use the summer vacation to "recharge", learn teaching content and methods, read more, think more, write more, teach and research more, and provide themselves with suggestions. Higher requirements and the pursuit of becoming a better version of themselves; at the same time, he also suggested that all new teachers should make their own personal career plans so that their educational careers can move forward and develop in a clear direction.
Wu Guiwen emphasized that the comprehensive quality of teachers is the foundation of the school, and the development of young teachers is related to the future of the school. He affirmed the serious and responsible work attitude and excellent achievements of the young teachers in their past work. But at the same time, some shortcomings were also raised, and it is hoped that young teachers can make up for the shortcomings and continuously improve their work ability and teaching level. He hoped that young teachers should learn to self-reflect whether they are teaching or educating people; at work, if they have good ideas, they should boldly practice them and be brave in innovation; they should maintain their enthusiasm and passion for work and be an empathetic educator.
Concentrate your efforts and gather momentum to empower; take root downwards and grow upwards. The purpose of this training is to hope that young teachers can learn, think, understand, act, and be effective in their future work, and be pragmatic and steady in their future work, so as to help of Fourth Middle School develop better. .
